The Curse of the Weathered Knife A Horror Story by Freddy the freak

The Curse of the Weathered Knife

A Horror Story
by Freddy the freak

Whilst investigating the death of a local private detective, a delightful housekeeper called William Fish uncovers a legend about a supernaturally-cursed, weathered knife circulating throughout Canada. As soon as anyone uses the knife, he or she has exactly 8 days left to live.

The doomed few appear to be ordinary people during day to day life, but when photographed, they look distorted. A marked person feels like a hot owl to touch.

William gets hold of the knife, refusing to believe the superstition. A collage of images flash into his mind: a minuscule badger balancing on a pointy private detective, an old newspaper headline about a bear baiting accident, a hooded monkey ranting about elbows and a drinking well located in a hilly place.

When William notices his feet have owl-like properties, he realises that the curse of the weathered knife is true and calls in his daughter, a doctor called Katy Jones, to help.

Katy examines the knife and willingly submits herself to the curse. She finds that the same visions flash before his eyes. She finds the minuscule badger balancing on a pointy private detective particularly chilling. She joins the queue for a supernatural death.

William and Katy pursue a quest to uncover the meaning of the visions, starting with a search for the hooded monkey. Will they be able to stop the curse before their time is up?
