Front-line transport workers largely lack awareness on how criminal networks disguise illegal wildlife products, it emerged at a summit in Bangkok. Customs officials and wildlife trade experts say that educating freight forwarders and handlers of air, ship and land cargoes could help the fight against trafficking. Their recent meeting with transport operators was the first of its kind. "There was a genuine shock (among participants from the transport industry in the meeting) as to the magnitude of wildlife trade and the methods of disguise used by traffickers to transport these commodities," said Martin Palmer, an expert in global trade compliance requirements and international transport. "For example, when a rhino horn is ground down to powder, it's almost impossible to identify the difference between a box of grey chalk and a box of rhino horn powder, from a visual check. "Facts like these came as a big surprise to participants from the transport industry." Wildlife organisations say around 35,000 elephants are killed for their tusks every year, mainly in Africa. The South African government has said poaching of its rhinos reached a record of 1,215 last year. Only around 3,000 tigers are now left across the globe, which is only 5% of what the population was a century ago. Experts say despite international efforts against wildlife trafficking, criminal networks have been adopting new tactics in transporting the illegal goods - which are estimated to be worth up to $23bn annually, according to the United Nations Environment Programme. 2 Female ,1 cotton top Tamarin,2 Male Emperor  Tamarin monkeys all endangered were stolen from Blackpool Zoo.The local police believe it to be a planned  and pre-meditated crime and the zoo fears the monkeys are going to be sold on the Black Market.These monkeys need around the clock attention ,strict fruit and veg diet with vitamin D,Ultra -light or may die.This is a horrible event made out of greed  and i hope the

culpits get caught and monkeys returned to zoo.

Pandas live in the lowlands  of china  and eat a diet of bamboo and are differercult to breed in zoos, but the article found  in the sun newspaper by Chris Packham suggests that it's time  we let  this species become extinct and  focus on realistic conservation. This idea is wrong, we should  try to keep any species  going  until  their last breath as when you begin down the road of picking  and choosing how far will man go.

headline -1,200 killed by mental patients in last 10 years example given in newspper.but mental health is far too often spoken in terms of aggression and violence.1.2 million people are in trouch with secondary mental health services.i  found through working in mental health most patients are more likely to harm themselfs or be verbally aggessive-scary but life threating.mind is campaigning for better crisis care,its time the nhs mental health services put treatment  and care at the highest quality.also rememember everyone has a mental health issue once in thier lifetimes before you judge thier lives and above headline.

lying in my bed almost dead,machines wired to my body,air being pumped into my lungs,nurses,doctors hover over me doing tests,ticking charts,the world carrys on its orbit,i know not of events gone by.wife told to expect the worst,she has faith,i hear a voice in the darkness, a woman unknown,wake up she says,i am overcome with a powerful urge ,i awake,to this day people say it was just electons in my brain resparking,i believe it was a guardian angel,whos to know,its time to live again
