30 YEARS OF MARRIAGE _MARK ANTONY RAINES _ENID RAINES
MARRIAGE AND RELATIONSHIP 3O YEARS

Marriage is described as a union between two people who in my opinion love each other no matter what colour, sexuality;reglion, age although to many its an our of Date concept and seen not matter to the majority anymore who rather in old terms live in sin as your rights stay more or less the same some may point out I may not be legally correct but I am not a lawyer.
This is our journey in how we got married and the journey to 30 years but only the highlighted edited version with some names left out as not to cause trouble within the family.
Why a picture if the Bikers magazine Back Street Hero's it how I met my wife although not back in 1988 I put myself up for sale in the lonely hearts section of this magazine as I was feeling lonely and unwanted, Enid was the third reply she was know as Sue back then for reasons to be revealed later in this article.
Me and Sue would send each other letter s and talk via a red telephone box yes no very much mobile phone s back then ,I wa even allowed to reverse the charges when I ran out of money.
Later on I went to see her at Bodmin, Cornwall, the coach trip was eight hours long and on my first visit to Bodmin I was asked to leave a local pub due too did not have types like me,I was wearing a leather jacket with a denim half cut over which had over a hundred badges and a bad goatee beard and a bandana on my head so I suppose I can understand the hostile reception.
On the second visit to Bodmin I found out whilst sitting on the swings overlooking Bodmin Prison that Sue was in fact Enid and at that moment married with three children but this did not put me off despite the initial shock .
In August 1988 I decided to take a huge leap of faith and moved to Devon to be with Enid as at that time I had nothing to lose.
I made to Devon and we ended up in a caravan in Padstow and I was asked by Enid to go and hide which I did behind a sand dune my heart beating and sweat pouring down my brow all to avoid he husband s and Enids friends not people not messed with but u survived unhurt and all in tack.
I going to skip now some parts just say it involves avoiding Enids ex husband and one time ending sleeping in a Bush for two nights in Barnstaple, Devon due to fact Enid and her son were at a centre for abused woman and I thought I was never going to see her again and I felt depressed and invisible from the world.
Until one day I was walking around thinking how was going to get home,live then suddenly around the corner appeared Enid and her son,this to my mind was fate.
That's now go through a timeline of events that may look like some sort of a b movie plot but it's all true .
Had All my money taken at Bed and Breakfast I stayed in arranged by Enid .
2. Enid use to throw peanuts at the people in the social security until she got her money.
3 . Places lived _Bridgerule,Ilfracombe, Chilsworthy, Bradworthy, Woolsery,Bideford, Bude bit like a nomad or if my family history on my dad's side could because it been mentioned many times hus. mother was a gypsy.
4 My Wife Enid has been to ever court house during her divorce the last being Turo Court where she got her divorce and had to take to the stands and make a monkey out of myself, I remember the toilets having cameras as Turo Court is the main criminal court.
5 Enid solicitor used to watch Corrie to see what her husband would come up with next,did I mention Enid ended up getting 5 p a month we even framed the cheque we received. The children had to see her ex a hour a week in which we were told thier just sat in the car bored out of thier brain s .Once when he was late back late on purpose Enid run at him with a hatchet in her hand he did not do it again.
6 . Three events that put in sickness and health to its limits,I ended up in hospital with a diabetic coma ,blood sugar level to 124 ,Enid told I may die and stayed at the hospital for a time sleeping in a chair without her medication, I had to have insulin for a while then metaformin then on diet control.
Enid had to go to hospital due to sores on the side of her hips e believe were caused by the stain used on electric chair ,she ended up a special machine and had the same on her stomach which had five operation s on ,she had to have a tube insert to help urinate ,once four in one day.
The latest was bleeding heavily in her virginal area ,thick jelly like, she had to have two blood transfusions and now having various tests.
7 . We are both classed as disabled and during the pandemic as vulnerable people ie self isolation, which is not that hard as we keep our self's to ourselves lead to some a boring existence.
8 This is one I think Mr Editor Jonathan Downes of Gonzo Weekly if this gets in a issue like I officially did not exist for a one whole year as I did not claim a social money,vote or saw a doctor.
9. Instant Family since Primary school and college and know the girls have thier own children.

This is where me and Enid got married in Holsworthy Register Office I tried to find a picture of it but s far no joy in the 15 th JUNE 1991 ,I wore a suit and a tie and a snake earring in my left ear,today I have four earrings a d eleven tattoos, Enid wore a pink suit with a hat to match.
We had our reception at the White Hart Pub the music played was the soundtrack from the film The Blues Brothers .
Our final move was six years ago to our humble bungalow owned by Westward Housing as we rather rent then own a house as all you have to do is ring and your repair will be done without a charge.
WHAT ARE THE SECRETS TO A LONG MARRIAGE/RELATIONSHIP.
I don't say I have the magic answers but I just tell you what works for us its quite simple.
Here we go,talk to each other even the really difficult debates,don't live in the past,accept each other limits, say you love each over you love them each day, and the most important thing is have two television s so no conflict on want to watch.
So to my wife Enid I say I love you each day through thick and thin,sickness and health .
ENID AND MARK (THE DOG IN THE PICTURE WAS CALLED ROBBIE WHO IS NOW ON THE RAINBOW BRIDGE HIS FAVOURITE TRICK WAS TO RUN TJE LENGTH OF THE GARDEN THEN STOP BY THE STEPS TO AWAIT TO BE PICKED UP.
