In opposition to giant running amok in Mahanadi River,
A man at arms in darkness is faulty in central part,
Beheaded prophet leaves grave to weep,
Voltaire love is a lout I spoiled,
Winds in chase caught no shoes
Endless looks recalled offence,
Go wild the morning after,
Hesling beat up a bloodsuker.

Horrid pong a prisoners lounge,
Is thier an amorous archer among the red roses,
No learner he's kinda of rough looking,
Outlawed sleeping around,
Copy held quickfire attacks .

Louis Wain

Cartoon by Mark Antony Raines inspired by Louis Wain

Louis Wain
To many who may be reading this article he may be just an old victorian who had a thing about drawing cats with human characteristics but his story is one of tragedy and ending up poor due to not copyrighting his content.
If you are among the millions who owned a cat it's probably down to Louis Wain making them popular.
During Victorian and Edwardian cats were just kept to get rid of rats and mice and often feral and the thought of pampering them seemed distinctively odd.
In Wain s own words
" to wipe out ,once and all ,the contempt in which the cat has been held in thus country ".
Born in 1860  the only boy to five sisters, After the death of his father he found love with the family governess Emily Richardson  and was she encouraged the love of animals.
His mother and sisters did not attend the wedding as thier disapproval of the nuptials.
Wain was a highly regarded artist whose engraving were used in the newspaper s of the time as photographs were much later.
In 1883 Emily and Louis took in a stray black and white cat whom thier named Peter, they found Peter meowing outside their house.
After a few months poor Emily discovered  she had breast cancer and it was Peter that kept them going.
Peter was doted on he was trained to wear spectacles, play dead, hold a postcard, Wain  started to sketch Peter whom he used the phrase "the household god".
Wain went on to create a can of cat universe were cats were depicted doing human like activities as if part of the society.
They had personalities, went to dance s,rode bikes, swam the sea each inspired as Louis Wain sat in public place s furtively sketching people around him.
He even did Winston Churchill as a cat.
His big break came he issued a book of 150 of humanoid cats called
"A KITTENS CHRISTMAS PARTY "
This shoot Louis Wain to frame but tragedy hit when his wife Emily died .
During the late 1880s to the outbreak of World War One his cats appeared in prints, books ,postcards.
In his lifetime he became president of National Cat Club and he used this platform to champion cats wellbeing as families began adoption of cat's.
Despite his fame his lack of Business savy he failed to copyright his images and got no royalties.
His cat Peter was 15 years old caused a decline he died in June 1924 penniless and committed to a paupers ward of a psychiatric hospital in Surrey.
Among his delusion s  he believed cat fur generated electricity and animals habitually faced North due to Magnetic forces.
If you interested a new film has been made about his life called.
"THE ELECTRICAL LIFE OF LOUIS WAIN (PG) is due for release in 2022.
In which Benedict Cumberbatch plays this near forgotten artist.
So next time your cat comes beside you fir a cuddle please remember the name Louis Wain.

CHRISTMAS LIGHTS

Twinkling neon lights around the front of of the house like a bizarre octopuses tentacles,
Blown up Santa's and Reindeer, blinking on and off a  constant repeat eternal loop,
Elevator Christmas songs play  untunefully in your ears,
Causing it to create an earworm affect through out your day,
Each house in a war of whom can be the loudest and brightest during the yuletide,
My head fills like it's going to explode into tiny pieces over the neighbours overwhelming obsession ,I watch them put up scaffolding, climbing ladders, the din of hammering of nails like chalk on a board grinding away at my very soul
I know now way scrooge says bah humbug to it all,
Every year since I joined this neighbourhood its been the same it's driving me insane,
So one day I had enough of this festival of so called delight, picked up my axe for chopping up wood entered the house as silent as a mouse,
Crept up stairs opened the bedroom doors without a squeak and I sneaked in ,
Raised my axe with all my might and rhymically swing it to out of tune silent night,
Until all the red come be seen is the crimson iron rich blood on the white crisp carpet,
I let out a ho ho ho and screamed at the top of my voice.
MERRY CHRISTMAS TO YOU ALL.

THE GLOOM AND DOOM

Long ago, in a faraway kingdom, there lived  too difficult kind of people one liked the  thought of Doom, the other had a cloud over them so everyone called her Doom.

On every full moon these two  would come out and and spread their sense of Doom and Gloom  through  the world at the best  time of day a, midnight. Anyone who saw them would fall to the ground under a spell, as the overwhelming need to be gloom and doom took over them. The townsfolk longed for a brave Knight  or superheroes  to save them from this never ending nightmare.

Well one day along came a thing long forgotten by the world  a thing called Hope, who it was very brave indeed to believe in.

"I wouldn't be scared even if it were the gloom and doom who ever lived, who  made it a constant sense of dread and living in fear"
Gloom and Doom just did not care. "Take me to  hell again, entering my brain as also among the other s.

So the townsfolk pointed our heroic (and slightly Hope in the direction of the cave wherein dwelt the  awful  people  of our story, brother and sister  ,Gloom and Doom and off thier went.
Gloom and Doom  shuddered  as Hooe stepped carefully into the mouth of the cave and  screamed in shock—there was once un them in the darkness reigns of thier semi conscious sleeping before thier let the darkness of Gloom and Doom take them other , and soon with the power  of Hope awaiting  in their  heart around  the corner, awaiting their fate!

So what did  everyone  else around  the world  and even the galaxies  Hope  will conquer  all? Well, that when  I walked right over and and opened  the  door  to  the top of building  roof  and a  voice whispered right into the ear of that this is going to end real soon. The cold breeze  awoke me  with an expected sense of Gloom and Doom as I ,flew down the levels of the flats like  the deadweight  I was and was never seen again!

Anne Michaud_Why They Stay: Sex Scandals, Deals, and Hidden Agendas of Eight Political Wives (2nd Edition

Now let’s welcome Anne Michaud (ME-show), a veteran political journalist who is a reporter for The Wall
Street Journal. She previously wrote a nationally syndicated opinion column for Newsday and was twice
named “Columnist of the Year.” She’s won more than 25 writing and reporting awards.
Her book, Why They Stay, reveals the inner lives of eight political wives as they fight to maintain a grip on
power and pursue their own personal ambition. It includes Melania Trump, Hillary Clinton, Jackie
Kennedy, Eleanor Roosevelt and more.
Anne worked in the arena of disgraced political figures — the men — and wanted to tell the story of their
wives. She goes beyond the stereotypes and lays bare the tightrope the wives were forced to walk — in
full public view — to keep their families’ history-making potential alive.
Anne found fascinating parallels with the strategies medieval queens of England used to wield power.
Let’s welcome to the show Anne Michaud.

Why They Stay: Sex Scandals, Deals, and Hidden Agendas of Eight Political Wives by Anne Michaud

Description

Product Description

Why do good women stay with bad men?

What if political wives are just as calculating as their infamous husbands?

If Hilary Clinton had left her marriage, she might only be known as the spurned wife of a retired politician. Instead, she became the first woman to run for U.S. president on a major party ticket.

Veteran political journalist Anne Michaud knows the hidden agendas women employ to gain and cling to power. Working as a reporter for The Wall Street Journal and awarded “Columnist of the Year” by the New York News Publishers Association, Anne has researched the women behind some of the most notorious men in the public eye.

She discovered a surprising pattern as old as the dynastic maneuverings of England’s medieval queens.

Today, women married to the “royalty” of our times–politicians–make bold decisions to keep their “thrones” and their family’s history-making potential.

Why They Stay reveals the inner lives of eight political wives as they fight to maintain a grip on power and pursue personal ambition:

  • Melania & Donald Trump: A foreigner’s desire to live the American dream
  • Hilary & Bill Clinton: One masterful decision launched her political career
  • Jackie & John F. Kennedy: Coping in bed and all the way to the bank
  • Eleanor & Franklin D. Roosevelt: A lifeless marriage sparks a social champion
  • Marion Stein & Jeremy Thorpe: Riding out British scandal to provide for her sons
  • Wendy & David Vitter: Married to the Party versus married to a man
  • Silda Wall & Elliot Spitzer: Real-life drama spawns TV show The Good Wife
  • Huma Abedin & Anthony Weiner: How to win against a man and the Media

These political wives aren’t powerless pawns. They are shrewder than you expect. Why They Stay pulls back the curtain to reveal why women throughout history stand by their man … for better and for worse.

Review

"Skillful prose makes the dishy profiles an engaging read."  -Kirkus Review

"It's a story we've heard often: Prominent politicians suddenly find themselves ensnared in humiliatingly public sex scandals, but their wives decide to stay with them. With a prodigious amount of research and deft storytelling skill, Anne Michaud goes beyond the headlines and explores the stories of both spouses, on both sides of the Atlantic, revealing the pain, the loyalty, and the calculations behind the wives' decisions. Every political couple should read it."  -Bob Keeler, author and Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist

"Anne Michaud breathes life into headlines that I thought I knew so well with fresh details about well-known political spouses like Hillary Clinton, Silda Wall Spitzer and Huma Abedin. Her thorough reporting helped cast them into an entirely new light and see how their personal struggles reflect the internal struggles women have faced for centuries."  -Christine Haughney, former New York Times staff reporter
