Shutting down Google+ for consumer (personal) accounts on April 2, 2019

In December 2018, we announced our decision to shut down Google+ for consumers in April 2019 due to low usage and challenges involved in maintaining a successful product that meets consumers’ expectations. We want to thank you for being part of Google+ and provide next steps, including how to download your photos and other content.

On April 2nd, your Google+ account and any Google+ pages you created will be shut down and we will begin deleting content from consumer Google+ accounts. Photos and videos from Google+ in your Album Archive and your Google+ pages will also be deleted. You can download and save your content, just make sure to do so before April. Note that photos and videos backed up in Google Photos will not be deleted.

The process of deleting content from consumer Google+ accounts, Google+ Pages, and Album Archive will take a few months, and content may remain through this time. For example, users may still see parts of their Google+ account via activity log and some consumer Google+ content may remain visible to G Suite users until consumer Google+ is deleted.

As early as February 4th, you will no longer be able to create new Google+ profiles, pages, communities or events. See the full FAQ for more details and updates leading up to the shutdown.

If you’re a Google+ Community owner or moderator, you may download and save your data for your Google+ Community. Starting early March 2019, additional data will be available for download, including author, body, and photos for every community post in a public community. Learn more

If you sign in to sites and apps using the Google+ Sign-in button, these buttons will stop working in the coming weeks but in some cases may be replaced by a Google Sign-in button. You’ll still be able to sign in with your Google Account wherever you see Google Sign-in buttons. Learn more

If you’ve used Google+ for comments on your own or other sites, this feature will be removed from Blogger by February 4th and other sites by March 7th. All your Google+ comments on all sites will be deleted starting April 2, 2019. Learn more

If you’re a G Suite customer, Google+ for your G Suite account should remain active. Contact your G Suite administrator for more details. You can also expect a new look and new features soon. Learn more

I awake to find myself confined in a tight space,no light just endless darkness I use my hands to feel around to gather some sense of my surroundings,I feel a smooth surface I try to see if I can move any of my body,only my legs move a little .I let out a weak kick,my foot touches something solid,the surface makes a wooden echo,suddenly I begin to realise that this may be a coffin.How did I get in here I shout out help,but only the echo replies.I am lying in my own coffin awaiting a slow death of suffocation as my limited is going to run out.Hello Mark my darling I have been awaiting your return home as I have missed you said amy his wife of twenty years.yes I have been tied up with my work hard. Amy says that's ok I have a surprise for you.Amy then gestures Mark to the bedroom and precedes to ask him to take his clothes off whilst she slips into something more sexy,and says I have brought you a pill from the internet you know the blue one so you can pleasure me more.Mark thinking his luck was in,took the pill laid in bed expecting this treat.I find my mind wandering back to that day,I remember something else a voice saying I know Mark of all the times you were at work you were with her,so I decided that I have had enough I going to make you suffer.My breathing is getting shallow,limbs are stiffer,my skin feels tight.I try with one more last grasp to cry for help but it is useless,my brain is shutting down my eyes close,I am no longer alive.

Oh I we have finally discovered the tomb of Queen Enid said Tim to Professor Downes.After 3 years of intense heat,extreme cold at night and that's not forget the howling sandstorms.Professor Downes agreed and went with Tim to the entrance of the newly formed tomb,the professor looked at the Egyptian inscriptions above and slowly deciphered them on his notepad,this was a curse....whom should desecrate my final resting place will be covered in bandages to be forever by my side in eternal sleep.Tim give the professor a nervous smile and asked him if this was true,professor Downes let out a booming hearty laugh ,on course not my dear boy it's just pure bunkum to scare away the grave robbers from taking the treasure that lying around the tomb.At this point Tim interrupted but professor there is no treasures just a plain stone coffin placed above a rock almost like it was never meant to exist,the professor..hmm I think I know more then you boy....Yes Queen Enid the high priests have prepared your bandages for mumification as requested and all were had their tongues cut out and hands chopped off so the process can not be repeated.The professor and Tim slowly and with great effort remove the tombs lid,and to their surprise the mummy of Queen Enid looks as if it was placed their yesterday.suddenly a purple mist is surrounding them,both begin to cough and find it difficult to breath,a crushing of bones can be heard as both collapse to the floor entwined with thick white bandages slowly up.to this torsos a creaking of ribs,screams of dreadful pain,towards the neck the bandages pieced then the face towards the eyes ,finally both are covered in the living bandages ,red sickly and bits of brain ooze out.Inside the tomb a figure of a woman in regal garments raises up,Queen Enid lives.the end

A rare and endangered species of shark could have found a safe haven off the coast of Wales, scientists have announced.

The angel shark, a large flat species which resembles a stingray, is listed as critically endangered and was previously only reliably spotted around the Canary Islands.

But after a six month project led by the Zoological Society of London (ZSL) and Natural Resources Wales, evidence has emerged which suggests the angel shark is living in UK waters.

A series of sightings by fishermen in Cardigan Bay, the Bristol Channel and north of Holyhead suggested the angel shark was regularly staying in Welsh waters, ZSL's Joanna Barker told the BBC.

“What we really want to try and understand is what sort of numbers are we talking about and where are their important habitats, because there could be some really critical areas for angel sharks in Wales,” she said.

"Ancient and endangered angel sharks in the Welsh coast"

The project has also turned up a number of photographs from the 1970s and 1980s of local fishermen who had caught angel sharks.

Since then the species has become protected and it is now illegal to catch it while fishing in British waters.

The unusual shark is especially valuable for scientists because it represents a completely different evolutionary process compared to other species.

Their bodies are broad and flat to allow them to linger on the ocean floor, half-buried in sand and mud, waiting for prey to swim near them.

“If we lose the angel shark, we lose a really important lineage of evolutionary history that we can’t get from any other shark species,” Ms Barker said.

“It’s actually quite an ancient family of sharks … It has evolved particular traits no other family has done.”

Once so common it was used only as crab bait, in recent years the angel shark’s numbers have sharply dropped, leading to its classification as critically endangered in 2010.

But because it is now a protected species, researchers worry that fisherman and others who do come across it are reluctant to report sightings and accidental catches.

Ben Wray, a marine ecologist at Natural Resources Wales, said when the project was launched last year anyone could come forward without worrying about getting in trouble.

“We want to dispel that feeling and let people know that it’s fine to come forward and record these sightings,” he said.

“This data will be vital in building a clearer picture of the status and ecology of angel sharks in Wales as well as informing the Wales angel shark action plan, which we hope will help guide the project towards success.”

The angel shark project is now touring coastal communities across Wales to raise awareness of the species and encourage locals to share any information and sightings with the team.

In particular, the scientists still want to find out if the sharks living off Wales are moving between there and their normal hunting grounds around the Canary Islands, or even an unknown third hotspot.
