Ocean Wishmonger is a cowardly swordsman from dull Scotland. She leads an idyllic life. However, all that changes when Ocean books a summer holiday to urban Sydney.
At first Ocean finds Sydney very sunny. Then there's the mysterious, tactless mechanic, Alex Williams, who makes her feel afraid.
When Alex invites her on a loving expedition, Ocean begins to realise that Alex is a deeply admirable and creepy man.
Ocean knows in her heart that Alex is the man for her. However, to secure her happiness, Ocean must fend off the friendly computer programmer, Alice Randall, who wants to get her claws into Alex.
