For My Fancy Daffodil..by Mark Antony Raines

Roses are red,
Violets are blue,
A buttons is fancy,
And so are you.

Orchids are white,
Ghost ones are rare,
Horse are grey,
And so is your hair.

Magnolia grows,
With buds like eggs,
Cells are hairy,
And so are your legs.

Sunflowers reach,
Up to the skies,
Americans are black,
And so are your eyes.

Foxgloves in hedges,
Surround the farms,
Faces are tanned,
And so are your arms.

Daisies are pretty,
Daffies have style,
Your light is dazzling,
And so is your smile.

A daffodil is beautiful,
Just like you.
