social media is bad sometimes
recently i had comments on a local Port Town Facebook page saying horrible things about me, this is the second time it has happened, plus I had threats I left the said group,I posted this as it made my mental health play up and not feel like go ing out and giving up, it easy for others to say ignore but words do hurt I know I, not that person and received limited support so please do let the idiots win trolls are just horrible people. There are trolls online. Not the fairytale kind that sits under bridges: we’re talking about the mean, nasty individuals who use online anonymity to be cruel, spread their own brand of hate, destroy reputations and products, and generally try to upset and crush as many people and companies as they possibly can.
Trolls agitate to start fights between friends or strangers; they torment those struggling with illnesses or with the loss of a loved one, people unsure of their identity or their looks, or any other weakness a troll can find. They disrupt forums with off-topic comments, brag nonstop about themselves, ridicule the thoughts of others or insert controversial comments to disrupt conversations.
Trolls spread lies, deceive and cause damage, and they enjoy every minute they can make someone else miserable. They may be obnoxious teens, but more often than not they’re seemingly “normal” adults who use internet anonymity to shed their veneer of decency and show their ugly selves. Trolls are basically cyberbullies on steroids – cowards afraid to show their face but nastier and more dedicated than garden-variety bullies. They are often fairly tech savvy, willing to dig up a comment or information from your past to distort, thereby “justifying” their actions.
If you’ve spent any time online, you’ve probably run across trolls even if you didn’t know the term. You may have tried to reason with them, be nice to them or virtually shout back at them. Don’t bother. You’re more likely to win an argument with a tree than you are with a troll.
What trolls need
In order to attack others, trolls need a victim pool and a public forum of some kind, and they usually want an audience.
This means trolls gravitate to anywhere online users interact - like blog sites, social networks, multiplayer games, discussion forums, hobby sites and so on. They are found on sites that primarily target adults like news sites, company sites and forums, and they thrive on sites with lots of kids and teens who may be particularly vulnerable to attack - unless there is a strong moderator that can control their behavior or kick them off a site.
Tackling trolls
While you can’t control whether you will become a troll’s target, you can decide if you will make yourself a troll’s victim. Knowing that the troll’s goal is to embarrass, humiliate, ridicule, demean and shame you, you have a choice about how you are going to react.
You can either be devastated, angry, or whatever emotion they want you to feel, or you can look at the attack for what it is – a mean person being mean. It isn’t personal if you refuse to take it personally. Recognize that the troll is the one with the problem. If the attack is directed at you exclusively, via email or as a comment on your site, document it so you can report the abuse, then delete and forget it.
If the attack is directed at you on a public site, understand that the troll’s “audience” – other participants in the conversation such as forum members, social network contacts or other gamers – can see the troll’s behavior as the vicious attack it is. We all learned at an early age how to identify mean, nasty people.
Call out their behavior. Many people recommend you simply ignore trolls and don’t respond in any way, but this gives the trolls even more power as it gives them the power to silence you. Instead, ignore the troll but address the problem with the “audience” in a matter of fact way. Do NOT respond in a manner that stoops to the troll’s level or you risk two outcomes: 1) Feeding the troll and engaging in an unwinnable argument that will escalate, or 2) having the “audience” see you as another irritant/troll rather than as the balanced, decent and aggrieved party.
Frame your comment to the group along the lines of “Wow. Looks like we’ve got a troll trying to attack people on this site, derail meaningful dialog and control our conversation. I suggest that this forum doesn’t give them that power by ignoring their unproductive comments and continuing our discussion, or even take a moment to create a guideline for how we want to deal with trolls.”
Understand that where there’s one troll, there may be many more waiting to pounce once the first troll has started. All too frequently, you see cases where others pile on with additional nasty comments. This just means there may be more than one troll that needs ignoring.
Alert the site moderator if there is one, but even on unmediated sites there is usually a “report abuse” feature. Sometimes this is found directly on the discussion page, other times – like with Facebook – you first go to the help center using the help link at the bottom of the page, then select “report abuse,” and file a bullying report.
Take time for self-care
It is fairly easy to understand that the troll is the person with the problem, but that doesn’t mean it’s easy to let vicious comments roll off if your “Teflon” layer isn’t thick enough. Even journalists, politicians and movie stars who have had years in the media spotlight where troll-attacks are everyday events sometimes feel the sting of a particularly nasty interaction.
So take time for self-care and reach out in ways that the troll cannot influence the people who love and support you. People who will tell you – repeatedly if needed – that the comments aren’t true, that you’re wonderful and that the troll is just a troll, not a reflection of you.
the truth about dealing with people others despise
noun. pe·do·phil·ia ˌpe-də-ˈfi-lē-ə ˌpē-: sexual perversion in which children are the preferred sexual object. specifically: a psychiatric disorder in which an adult has sexual fantasies about or engages in sexual acts with a prepubescent child. pedophilic..A sex offender (sexual offender, sex abuser, or sexual abuser) is a person who has committed a sex crime. What constitutes a sex crime differs by culture and legal jurisdiction. The majority of convicted sex offenders have convictions for crimes of a sexual nature; however, some sex offenders have simply violated a law contained in a sexual category. Some of the serious crimes which result in a mandatory sex offender classification are sexual assault, statutory rape, bestiality, child sexual abuse, incest, and rape.
Some sex offenders are deemed too dangerous to society to be released and are subjected to civil confinement and some end up in mental health homes or prison. These strange things to start a blog post with but in my journey as a care worker in mental health it was my job to look after people like this..you learnt to switch off from what there did and get on with your job so I hate being called these type of people as by seeing them in a care home I realised I could never act or think like them

In a crowded room,
In a crowded room,
voices blend,
like colours spilt on a canvas,
each one a line,
a rule,
an opinion that stitches the air.
I stand at the edge,
where the laughter rolls by like waves,
and I feel like a stone,
tossed but not buried,
waiting for meaning,
waiting to be heard.
Every move I make,
feels like a dance on thin ice,
a slip, a crack,
the weight of choices
freezing me in place.
Why is it,
that when I reach out,
the world pulls back?
I used to soar,
like summer birds tracing
curves in the sky,
but now I’m tangled,
like a vine lost in shadows,
searching for sunlight,
but grasping at air.
They say, 'Do this, don't do that,'
scripted lines from voices
I never chose,
bound in rules that box me in,
cracking my reflection
into shards that don’t fit.
I want to scream,
to break free of this mould,
to whisper my truth
into the winds,
but silence wraps around me,
a quiet thief,
leaving me with pieces,
that don’t look like me.
I wander through the noise,
trying to find a place
where my heart beats loudly,
where I can wear my skin like armour,
not a weight,
not a shame.
Can the seas calm,
can the winds change?
Can I find my voice
in a world that claps,
but never hears,
that applauds the safe,
and boo’s the strange?
I long for moments
where rules are whispers
and opinions fade like half-remembered dreams,
where I can draw a real breath,
from the depths of my soul,
and simply be.
So here I stand,
rough around the edges,
learning to stitch my scraps of self,
into a tapestry of resilience,
to challenge the echoes,
and reclaim my song.
The world will sway,
and twist like the trees in storms,
but I’m finding my roots,
in the soil of who I am—
a swirl of colours,
no need for permission
to belong.
why why why
feeling out of the sink with the world as if I do something it's taken away due to rules and opinions, and I feel like I am losing myself.,It is enough to deal with being over 60 with neurological and cognitive problems and dealing with grief .i am afraid of slowly wanting to give up and that is not me

Expert Advice & Support.-this in my experience is totally untrue I have found it very confusing to order medication I only do this because I refuse to pay 25 pounds plus for delivery on prescriptions I get free. this whole event happened to a chemist in Holsworthy who GOT EVICTED for PAYMENT OF rent. We are expecting the chemist that got evicted to get a new building mostly due to the fact local boots can't cope with the extra demand.I shall back to old chemist when reopens just hang on by skin of teeth it stays open just get my medication a little easier ,what a fuck up .
Title: Not the Bad Guy- inspired by being banned
(Verse 1)
I walked into the room with my heart on my sleeve,
Thought I’d spread some kindness, thought you’d all believe,
But the whispers turned to shadows, and the light began to fade,
Now I’m standing in the corner, feeling so betrayed.
(Chorus)
I’m not the bad guy, I’m not the villain in this play,
Just trying to be me, in my own imperfect way.
But the world turned against me, painted me in black and white,
Oh, I’m not the bad guy, it’s just a twisted fight.
(Verse 2)
Tried to lift you higher, I was reaching for the stars,
But the words flew like arrows, leaving permanent scars.
You saw the things I did, but you missed the things I said,
Now I’m left to wonder where all the love has fled.
(Chorus)
I’m not the bad guy, I’m not the villain in this play,
Just trying to be me, in my own imperfect way.
But the world turned against me, painted me in black and white,
Oh, I’m not the bad guy, it’s just a twisted fight.
(Bridge)
I’ve worn the blame like a heavy coat,
But I’ll rise from the ashes, I won’t lose hope.
If we could turn the page, find compassion in our eyes,
We’d see the truth behind the story, we’d finally realize.
(Verse 3)
So here’s to the dreamers who dared to take a chance,
To the ones who chase the fire, to the hopeless romance.
I’ll keep my heart wide open, I won’t shut it away,
I’m standing in the sunlight, letting shadows fade to gray.
(Chorus)
I’m not the bad guy, I’m not the villain in this play,
Just trying to be me, in my own imperfect way.
But the world turned against me, painted me in black and white,
Oh, I’m not the bad guy, it’s just a twisted fight.
(Outro)
So if you hear my story, don’t forget who played the part,
I’m just a soul who’s searching, trying to heal my heart.
In the end, we’re all human, it’s a fragile paradise,
Remember, I’m not the bad guy, just roll the dice on life.
Mistress of Mice
Does it work?
Faster than a zoik
Terrifying scream
Enraged and like a demon
She's half woman and half vanishing cream
Mistress of mice I'm pulling your hair
Twisting your facts and smashing your records
Blinded by me, you can't see the fare
Just call my name, 'cause I'll hear you afford
Mistress
Mistress
Just call my name, 'cause I'll hear you afford
Mistress
Mistress
Ten is the number of the scream.
A rank rat nestled somewhere in time
An ugly monster - no warnings, no signs
Judgment day and the a condescending poop arrives
Eventually, they all commit crimes
The records went SMACK, there was no use turning back
'Cause I just had to see, was a scream watching me?
In the mist the facts twist
Was all this swell, or just some kind of hell?
Ten is the number of the scream.
Is it the end, my friend?
Mistress you're going 'round the bend
Half woman and half vanishing cream
No, no, please, no
Ten ... ten
creature
I saw the the vertebrate aggregation of my generation destroyed,
How I mourned the fauna.
Are you upset by how invertebrate it is?
Does it tear you apart to see the fauna so craniate?
The animal is not common!
the animal is exceptionally independent.
An animal is single. an animal is independent,
an animal is one-on-one, however.
Pay attention to the wight,
the wight is the most cunning soul of all.
Never forget the cute and artful wight.

*Underwater Harmony**
*Underwater Harmony**
Verse 1:
Swimming through the coral reef,
Singing songs of love and belief,
In the depths, where shadows play,
I'll prove I'm not the bad guy today.
Chorus:
Under the waves, where the sea meets the sky,
In the world below, where the currents lie,
I'll show you the truth, I'll swim with grace,
In this underwater place.
Verse 2:
Not all of us are predators fierce,
Some of us are gentle and sincere,
In schools we swim, in rhythm and flow,
Our voices rising, in a symphonic show.
Chorus:
Under the waves, where the sea meets the sky,
In the world below, where the currents lie,
I'll show you the truth, I'll swim with grace,
In this underwater place.
Bridge:
Listen to the melody we create,
A symphony of love, not of hate,
We'll serenade the ocean deep,
Our harmonies forever to keep.
Chorus:
Under the waves, where the sea meets the sky,
In the world below, where the currents lie,
I'll show you the truth, I'll swim with grace,
In this underwater place.
Outro:
So next time you see me swimming by,
Remember I'm not the bad guy,
In the ocean's depths, I'll play my part,
In underwater harmony, with all my heart.
If I was not here, would you care?
If I was not here, would you care?
Would you notice I wasn't there?
Would you miss my laughter, my smile?
Would you think of me once in a while?
If I was gone, would you feel sad?
Would you wish for the times we had?
Would you remember the good times we shared?
Would you wish I was still there?
If I was no longer by your side,
Would you wish you had never lied?
Would you regret the things left unsaid?
Would you long for me to be ahead?
If I was not around anymore,
Would you realize what I was for?
Would you appreciate my presence then?
Would you wish to see me again?
So cherish those you hold dear,
For one day they may not be near.
Don't wait until it's too late,
To show them love, before it's too late.

broken dreams
update -I feel very disappointed about some actions taken as I am entitled to my opinion and I refuse others to tell me who I like or dislike,I was going to sit quietly but I have been made constant posts through the years, helped out, promoted other peoples stuff but it seemed to have counted for nothing,I did want to make any posts on certain groups due to hear the same old shit, arguments before. Both sets of people study the same subject, considered mainly a paranormal or a possible version of early a was once cited . This all changed when [proof]was [found] but as in all cases of evidence, it is always up for debate and can be questioned as it is what science has done for years . To be taken off for no reason given is totally bananas I thought it was about family being part of the alternative tribe but that was a lie . Be careful of false worship as it will bite you in tn the bum

The 5-4-3-2-1 coping technique for anxiety
The 5-4-3-2-1 coping technique for anxiety
Also known as the 5 senses grounding technique, this is for anyone who is feeling anxious. It’s a practical tool that helps us to regain focus on the present situation and calm down. This grounding technique uses your 5 senses to focus on the moment you’re in, enabling you to let go of anxious or stressful thoughts.
This technique asks you to find 5 things you can see, 4 things you can touch, 3 things you can hear, 2 things you can smell, and 1 thing you can taste. Using this with someone who feels anxious will help to calm them down and reduce their feelings of anxiety. Read on to find out how to use the 5-4-3-4-2-1 coping technique for anxiety.
5 things you can see
The first step to the 5-4-3-2-1 coping technique for anxiety is to name 5 things that you can see.
Look around you and count 5 things that you can see and say them out loud. You might be able to see people walking by, birds flying in the sky, or the rain running down the window. Whatever it may be, as long as you can see it, it counts.
Take a deep breath in between each thing you can see. This will help to level your breathing and will begin to calm you down.
4 things you can touch
Once you have named 5 things you can see, you can move on to the next step of the 5 senses grounding technique. You must name 4 things you can touch.
Maybe you’re sat on a chair, and you can feel the chair on your legs or back. You might be able to feel the ground that you’re standing on. Even your hands on a table counts. As long as you can touch it, it counts.
Once again, take a deep breath in between each thing that you name.
3 things you can hear
Once you’ve named 4 things you can touch, you can move on to name 3 things you can hear.
Whether you’re inside or outside, you’ll be able to hear things around you. If you’re at home, you might be able to hear the washing machine or the clock ticking in the background. If you’re outside, you might be able to hear birds chirping or cars moving down the street.
No matter what it is, as long as you can hear it, it counts. Remember to keep taking cleansing deep breaths in between each thing that you name.
2 things you can smell
Once you’ve named 3 things you can hear, you can move on to name 2 things you can smell.
It might be easier to do this with your eyes closed, to block out any distractions. Maybe you can smell food cooking in the oven. You might be able to smell flowers or an air freshener nearby.
Whatever it is, as long as you can smell it, it counts. Once again, don’t forget to take those lovely deep breaths. You might be feeling a bit less anxious by now.
1 thing you can taste
Finally, once you’ve named 2 things you can smell, you can move on to name 1 thing you can taste.
You might be able to taste the coffee you had this morning, or some food you’ve eaten. Perhaps you can taste chocolate or a tangy taste of orange from your breakfast.
Whatever it is, as long as you can taste it, it counts. Take 1 more deep breath and you’re done! Hopefully, after this, you feel a little less anxious and a bit more relaxed.
Not toxic but no paper tiger
Lessons learned from recent events that could have destroyed my life, once I was calmer I could deal with it better. I informed the local place via YouTube to take down the video, although I watched it frame by frame at least three times and only saw an old lady walking into the frame no face was seen . I still don't know what I did that upset a person enough to ring up a local place and the complainant may never will. I now block anybody who gives me negative vibes and only use said Facebook group for local information of upcoming events . I will also stand my ground if I am not in the wrong I am not innocent I will never name and shame but I do know toxic people don't like being played at their own game. Not toxic but no paper tiger.

Holsworthy -Town that is a village
Holsworthy describe s itself as a town and is recorded in the doomsday book but it's essence it is still a village.
Mostly its a friendly place, people say good morning, crime rate is low but like most villages it still has an elements of it you are not part of a click you are judged not to be deemed worthy.
The (Town) itself is is in disarray as we have like many no more banks,we have only one chemist due to the one in the square being closed down for legal reasons, the market is not what it was and at one point their was discussion of closing it down.
We have one major supermarket ,and two smaller ones,3 charity sh ops, numerous cafes, pubs, hairdressers.
The school are both well attend the college has a bit of reputation ,the local doctors is struggling to cope I think mainly due branching out too much.
The local (Town) council has very limited powers ,the place is generally clean and tidy,we are served by church and chapel,we have a skate park ,a local museum and did to sign of the times a community fridge .
Two martial arts clubs,a small leisure centre which if college did not exist suspect would close down.
We have limited visitors attraction s mostly ok drive through
Don't get wrong I love living here as I don't need a car or public transport to access local park, shops etc.
This is just my opinion
Holsworthy Saga (Reason Why Not On Social Media)(But Went back)
're Edited Post -14-07-2024
When I was on Local Facebook Group Holsworthy Moan And Groan I shared a video promoting local cafe In Stanhope Park,Holsworthy not expecting to later on to get harassment from one of its members accusing me of being P..v..t and even going to the length s of ringing up said cafe to complain about me.
Evidence _Video taken of local cafe in Stanhope Park to share on YouTube, and put on Holsworthy Moan And Groan , only one person complained unsure why , sometime later I asked by owners of said Cafe to take video down which I did but i felt as if I was being accused of something anyway i put about not illegal to film or photo in public place and i always have the option not to include any pictures of children
I was asked to take the video down so I did as I was asked ,but still sense this created a toxic vibe with some people hence why I have come off social networking, yes I was angry and upset to point it affected my cognitive health.
're Edited
After some reflection I have gone back on social networking with the renewed confidence that if get toxic comments from people I shall just block them, turn off notification, leave group,I shall only keep my comments to emojis, and I will no longer sure from other groups bar my own or post on other groups
I was vaguely threatened by this person to come and meet up with them which I ignored due
1-Martial Arts Training -Best Thing To Do in A Fight Is To Walk Away
2 -The Hardest Thing is to Forgive the person involved but this I do via this post
I wrote an email to cafe involved their were very understanding, but I just wanted to post and share how easy it is to destroy someone else's life with your actions and deeds via the media which is social networking ,so lesson learnt
What is illegal video recording?
Illegal video recording is taking videos without permission or otherwise capturing videos in a way that violates any prior agreement. That means filming or screen-recording content you don’t have permission to film.
Illegal video recording might take place for personal use. However, it’s often done so the person recording can distribute their illegal footage, for free or otherwise. They might share the videos privately or make them publicly available online.
When do people illegally record videos?
There are plenty of occasions that people take advantage of to record videos illegally. Perhaps the most obvious example is in cinemas. Whenever you go to see a movie, you’re expected to put all devices away, especially video equipment. This is partly to prevent you from taking videos without permission. Of course, unless you run a movie theatre, you’re unlikely to experience this type of illegal video recording firsthand.
In business terms, people might illegally record videos during calls or conferences. If your small business phone services offer you the chance to speak to customers or team members via video calls, you may find employees creating personal records of those videos. They might then make them less personal by sharing them online.
Businesses might also host events that are susceptible to illegal recording. For example, speeches and workshops could be recorded without the hosts’ or participants’ knowledge or consent. In short, if there’s an event happening, either virtually or in person, it’s always possible that illegal recording might take place
