England World cup 2018..Russia..personal opinion

England went into World cup Russia 2018 with low expectations due to being such a young team.Group Stage we managed to end up second in Group behind Belgium.Then rated sides got knocked out leaving the route to a possible final a easier according to the press,you can only beat  the team in front of you and their are just as passionate and determination as you.England the went pass the second round and last sixteen  then further into the quarter finals we progressed into the semi finals of the world cup against Croatia.England were the better team in frist half and missed a few chances to score more than one goal  .The second half Croatia made a change in tactics and were the better team and looked the most likely to score which their did  So extra time was played and Croatia were still the better team we looked like we had run out of ideas,then in the second half of extra time Croatia scored a deserved second goal and England were defeated .England team were more like a team then the old days of players who were stars but could not progress ,This young team made us dream of being in a world cup final ,and are only the second time we reach a semi final of World cup since Italia 1990 so I would like to say well done and treat them as the respect earned by then in their attitude and pride in embraced by them and as a nation.We will have a third and fourth play off to play against Belgium so at least we can say we were in the top 4 ranked teams in the world .
