After a corporate career in communication, Karen expanded her horizons with a degree in religion. She brings all that expertise to developing a new way to talk to people who disagree with you. Her latest book (Persuade, Don't Preach: Restoring Civility Across the Political Divide) provides practical tips for how to talk to people you disagree with. Although it is not a religious book, her book has been endorsed by noted spiritual author Richard Rohr. She hopes that using these tools can help heal relationships and, thereby, heal the world.
