JAY SHIFMAN-WWW.JAYSHIFMAN.COM-GHOSTMAN RADIO STATION

You’d hire a personal trainer for your health. Why wouldn’t you do the same thing for your Mental Health?
Maintaining stable health habits over a lifetime isn’t always easy, and it’s easier with support. Athletes have coaches—and massage therapists, trainers, or any number of experts—to maintain their physical health. But what do we do when we struggle to maintain positive, long-term Mental and Behavioral Health habits?
We all struggle. We all need help from time to time. And your therapist should always get the first call. But how do you maintain your growth when you leave your therapist’s office, or build your tools when life is otherwise going well? This is where the Mental Health Coach comes in.
Whether you want new skills, accountability, or inspiration, I’m here. I help my clients establish practices to improve their state of mind, their outlook, and their habits. You may have heard this work called mental hygiene. I can’t replace your therapist, nor do I want to. Instead, I can work with you to reinforce what you’re working on and give you the tools to succeed.
You can learn more about my experience by visiting my LinkedIn page and you can find my podcast, the Choose Your Struggle podcast, on Stitcher, Apple, Castbox, Overcast, Pocket Casts, Radio Public, and Spotify.
