Joel and Peter

 Joel Rainey to all purposes was a typical young boy who lived on a farm enjoying living off the land with his mother, and Father.

Joel had a usual pet, a Rooster by the name of Peter.

Joel trained Peter with patience and by feeding him titbits as Peter was very intelligent, tricks learnt were various but Peter s favourite was at the command of the word(Gazam)Peter would crow at the top of his voice lustily.

On a night at the beginning of All Hallows' Eve, Weird Manifestations began, and Peter was sharply awakened by his window shutter violently banging at his window as his cuckoo clock struck midnight.

The temperature dropped to an icy cold, Peter reluctantly got out of his warm comfortable bed and walked over to his window and became completely shocked to see his bewildering eyes flying around his family barn an unholy crew of imps, demons, gargoyles, witches.

Joel aroused his mother and father so there could witness this strange event for themselves.

One of the horses in the barn began stumping its four legs and neighing in fear.

The whole family run out of the house towards the barn and were shocked upon entering the barn to see the horse in question being attacked by a gargoyle trying to stuck out his blood so they managed to grab a couple of pitch forks and chase it away.

Joel is distressed by the trauma and haunted by the images and goes off to a quiet place on the farm followed by his loyal friend, Peter.

Joel talks to Peter,(Something awful queers going on around here)

When he goes back to his parents are being attacked by a murder of hideous mutant crows, Peter manages somehow to scare them off, then Peter runs away followed by Joel concerned for the safety of his pet.

After some time they come to an deserted bleak-looking cemetery with bright white headstones.

We're upon Joel witnesses dancing pallid shapes in the moonlight, it's a meeting of the creatures he had seen flying over the barn, minions belonging to Satan.

Joel was rooted to the spot, Peter was pecking the ground when suddenly, two ghoul-like figures lunged toward Joel.

Ghoul number one (We have him Now!).

Ghoul number two (The Master will be pleased!)

Joel is dragged kicking and screaming toward a black plutonium figure with hooves for feet, horns on its head rising out of the cemetery grounds.

It was the Devil himself.

Devil (I wish your soul and that of your family to feed my minions to make them stronger to inhabit this world to inflict my pain on your fellow human beings)

Peter thinking quickly outside the box cries out loudly to Peter the command(Grazem).

Peter lets out Almighty rooster crow, this crowing by the rooster strikes shuddering terror into both Satan and his minions, a motley crew of friends for this to them means the dreaded light of the new dawn of the brand new day.

In a puff of smoke all is normal again, Nothing so odd happens again to Joel and his family, Peter for his reward is given a harem of hens much to his delight.
