Ukraine ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ฆ by Mark Antony Raines

Ancestors take residence in trees,
Lubricanted like spring,
Boy conceals sick with cold,
Women making noise,
On board so furtively in place,
Say to litter ,river flowing through gorgeous,
Some fear being separated,
Country deliveries in boxes,
One sat perfect finish  ,
Buildings report intruders,
Rod hot to steer to ignore the children s cries from among the destruction and rumble,
War what it good for we all yell and shout,
The bear is trying to roar but Ukraine fights back,
I wish for the white doves to fly once more ,
But this will take time, people to return to thier motherland and rebuild,
War is never an answer, only the innocent on both sides fill the graveyard watching the poppies grow.
