Flora Fish is a predatory shopkeeper from picturesque Ireland. She leads an idyllic life. However, all that changes when Flora books a summer holiday to backward Philadelphia.
At first Flora finds Philadelphia very dull. Then there's the mysterious, friendly fishmonger, Marion Malkovich, who makes her feel confused.
When Marion invites her on a sitting expedition, Flora begins to realise that Marion is a deeply optimistic and brave woman.
Flora knows in her heart that Marion is the woman for her. However, to secure her happiness, Flora must fend off the gracious hairdresser, Hannah Fish, who wants to get her claws into Marion.
Using her scary sausages and a mutual love of bird watching, Flora sets out to snare Marion once and for all. But will the friendly shopkeeper return her affections,what do you think dear reader.
