years since it was first screened, 2001: A Space Odyssey continues to cause confusion and debate. Stanley Kubrick’s epic film reimagined what cinematic science fiction could be, but it also went into esoteric areas, most notably with an ending that the director famously refused to discuss. New video and audio uploaded to YouTube appears to offer Kubrick explaining the ending as he saw it and developed it.
