Cup of tea
We gathered into the sitting room, myself, my stepson Shane and my beloved wife Enid.
In the background was media reports about the failed attempts by the Western nations who thought by putting powerful sanctions on Russia it would not invade Ukraine but history lessons were not learned Russia carefully carried out attacks via cyber knocking out electric and amenities and then attacks on gas pipeline s and wheat fields knowing the knock on affect to Europe and England food and energy supplies causes in its after effects wide spread crisis almost thier people.
We looked to America for some responses but none came as thier learned from over conflicts if you put boots on the ground they have to say and once life's lost no appetite is shown among thier own people.
So here we are now in the presence sitting on our sofa with a hot cup of tea saying how much we loved each other.
Then nothing but the distant sound of atomic bomb and all that is left of us is Ash.
