From Beyond by Mark Antony Raines..

I have always like the series in the gene in horror where you meet a series of strangers whom are all.interlinked by fate to be part of a nightmare that ends up real.in the end .Here is my version based on such horror film s .I bring to you for your reading delight From Beyond by Mark Antony Raines.



 When Five strangers go with a tourist group to view old catacombs their  become Separated from the main group, they find themselves in a room with the mysterious Crypt Keeper Freddie the Freak , who details how each of the strangers may die.

...And All Through the House

It looks like a chocolate box on the outside but inside of the Clayton home it's a different story.

Joanne Clayton   is just had  it up to here with  her  husband John  on Christmas Eve going on and on  about  his obsession with Christmas lights to   this yuletide .
As Joanne is slicing up the cold ham for tea something inside her head makes her snap and before John can finish about how much next doors Christmas lights were not as good as his this year ,she calmly places the knife in her hands down on  top.of his head killing him instantly.
 She prepares to hide his body,  and in the background hears a radio announcement  on the local news stating that a homicidal maniac  is on the loose.
 She sees the killer (who is dressed in a Santa Claus costume) outside her house, but cannot call the police without exposing her own crimes may end up being exposed so she chooses to ignore him and go on with her hiding her husband s body in the freezer in the cellar not a day task but it's amazing how your body can find strength in moments of need.

After cleaning up her crime with like a over zealous person with O.C.D,Joanne finally attempts to call the police to report her husband missing after a row and she was sure she saw the escaped maniac dressed as Santa near by.
 However, her young daughter Carol  being extra excited as seeing a man dressed like Santa  ,so  believing the  man by the back door to be Santa she  unlocks the door and lets him into the house.
When Joanne enters the room after the man pretending to be Santa sends her daughter upstairs or she get a piece of coal.instead of a nice Christmas present, whereupon he starts to strangle Joanne to death.
Carol can't wait until tomorrow and all Her lovely Christmas present s .
The would be Santa is walking quietly up the stairs,with a silent ho ho ho he is outside Carols door ready to open it as he likes to make sure the children sleep.


Reflection of Death



Carl Maitland  has been having an affair and decided its time to  abandon his family  and his wife of ten years Enid to be with Susan his new love I'm his life.
 After they drive off together, they are involved in a car accident.
He wakes up in the wrecked car dazed and and confused and wandering were was Susan as she was nowhere to be found so he decided to  and attempt to hitch-hike  back   to the  house their brought as their love best but everyone he meets reacts with horror upon seeing him.

Arriving at his house, he sees his Susan with another man in the living room laughing and joking and wanders what is going on,and who as this man in his love nest.
 He knocks on the   door with a loud this and screams through the letterbox Susan let me in.
 Susan answers the door , she screams and slams the door.
So Carl finds a near by window and throws a brick through it causing the window glass to shatter into hatred ragged edges,he climbs through carefully.
Glancing at a reflective tabletop, he sees he has the face of a rotted, hideous corpse and screams in horror.He wonders why Susan is not screaming at his appearance until he slots  the white cane by her side of her fainted body on the floor through the shock of the smashed Window.

. Carl then wakes up and finds out that it was a dream, but the moment he does, the crash occurs again and the living nightmare continues.


Poetic Justice



James Elliott  lives with his father Edward ( across from the home of dustman  by the name of Arthur  who owns a number of dogs and entertains children in his house. 
While both the Elliotts are snobs who resent Grimsdyke as blight on their neighbourhood and it's high standards so  James  begins detests tconduct a smear campaign against the old man saying he treated his gigs cruelly by beating them daily as his father with their eyes and wish no harm to  come to The dogs .
This lead to Arthur's  beloved dogs taken by animal control Arthur then persuaded  a member of the council to have him removed from his job.He exploited  parents' paranoid fears about child molestation to stop them coming to his door all in the name of a great neighbourhood.

On Valentine's Day, James  Arthur  a number of poison-pen Valentines, supposedly from the neighbours each filled words of hate ,driving the  poor old man to suicide.
Exactly one year later on the anniversary of his unnatural death in the eyes of the church Arthur  rises  reanimated from the grave and takes revenge on James by visiting him that very night.

The following morning, Edward finds his son  Arthur dead  and written craved on his exposed chest were these haunting words  bearly readable amongst the crimson red baked blood.
"YOU WERE MEAN AND CRUEL-RIGHT FROM THE START-NOW YOU REALLY HAVE NO--!" Edward opens up the folded wrapped parcel by James cadaver  and inside his the remains of his sons James "Heart which had be ripped out of his body.


Wish You Were



Ineffective ruthless businessman Ralph Jason is close to financial ruin due to not keeping up with the current trends of having His items not available online store.
 His wife Barbara discovers a Chinese figurine at a very odd looking Junk shop and finds herself drawn to the figurine.The old gentleman behind the counter regaled to her of the urban myth that this Chinese figurine can grant the owner three wishes   but it comes at a cost as nothing in life is free.
Barbara buys the Chinese figurine out of curiosity and as she leaves the shop the old man smiles and says to himself(Now I am free once again of that cursed object).



Barbara fed up with her current fanatical burden  decides to wish for a fortune; surprisingly, it comes true.A Letter arrives that day stating she would inherit  the sum.of a million pounds on here and her husband s Ralph's life insurance on proof of death.
Barbara asks Ralph to go to the shops for her as she needed some grocery items from The supermarket.
Ralph was driving along when suddenly The brake s stop working and The accelerator goes down to full causing him to crash his car head first into a wall,Ralph airbag fails and his seatbelt snaps and in a blink of a eye he goes head first through the car front window and into the wall crushing his skull in two letting his brain ooze out amongst the red sicky crimson blood.


 Barbara second wish is to.meant the man of her dreams,as she goes to bed that very night to sleep she heard footsteps coming up the stairs,she waits in a heighten sense of desire and want.
The door handle turns down,Barbara is beginning to sweat her whole body tingle s ,a figure enters the room.
At first in the plutonium darkness she thinks her Prince has come.
She puts on her bedside lamp and is stunned into shock and awe As her former husband Ralph stands before her a mangled animated living corpse ,dripping a mixture of embalming oils and dried putrid blood on the bedroom floor.
Barbara tries to let out a scream but just sits in her bed muted and soiled by the shock.
The cadaver formerly known as Ralph walks slowly ,creeping nearer and nearer .
Ralph starts to chew on Barbara s body taking out huge chunks.Somehow in the back of her mind Barbara wishes to go back to the beginning.

Two expectant mothers on two separate occasions are called in the midwives sister's office to be informed that due reason s unknown to them the child their were carrying had died in the womb.
If you ever get the chance to make three wishes just walk away as you may not like the results.


Blind Alleys



Major William Rogers has become the new director of a home for the blind and  exploits his position to live in luxury with his German Shepherd Shane, while his drastic financial cuts on food and heating lessens the residents' living conditions to the point of them freezing and starving to death.
Rogers gets his comeuppance after he ignores the pleas of resident George Carter  to both make the living conditions more bearable and later to get medical treatment for another resident Beryl his sort of girlfriend , who then dies from hypothermia.
Carter decides to  lead a revolt to subdue the staff before and knocking out   Rogers and Shane by using saved up sleeping tablets crushed into their food ,each   are placed into  separate rooms in the basement.During his stay in his locked room to the Major heard the sound of construction work taking place,and his beloved dog Shane barking and howling in the background.
When The Major s door is open we finds himself in a very dimmed out narrow corridor.
 It had been  two days left to starve and with no water ,The Major heard over some speakers that if he could find the key and go past the guard he be allowed to go home.
But as the Major is about to embark on his mission the corridor is plunged into complete plutonium darkness and he is informed this was of him to experience the world of his innocent victims of the card home ,Major soon realizes that the The walls are lined with very sharp razor blades with only the smallest of gaps inbetween them.

 With his hand covered in blood and his knees gnashed the Major reaches his final obstacle  his now once beloved dog Shane looking at him with teeth flashing,dribbles of salvia coming from his mouth as the lights turn back on,making the Major squirm at them.
The now ravenous Shane charges towards the Major who in turn panics ,flees back towards the razors, only for Carter to turn the lights off with Rogers heard screaming as the hungry dog catches up with him.
  Carter sits in the homes office ready to greet its new guests with a promise of always being treated with fairness,warmth and good hearty food.

Finale

After completing the final tale, the crypt keeper  Freddy the Freak  reveals that he was not warning them of what would happen, but telling them what has already happened: they have all "died without repentance".
 The door to Hell opens and all enter. "And now, who's next?" asks the Crypt Keeper, turning to face  you the reader  he says "Perhaps.. I see you soon my friend?"
  The Crypt Keeper's lair goes up. in flames . Sweet dreams children.
