CLOSELY RELATED APE SPECIES USE SAME SIGN LANGUAGE

Scientists have discovered that Chimps and Bonobos use the same gestures which have shared meanings which is believed too be a  biological inherited.This is a bit of a surprise that these two African APE cousins last shared ancestors two million years ago .For the study the meanings 33 Bonobo gestures were defined and compared to those of chimpanzees.The University of York who did this study are now examining if humans share APE gestures.
