Care home s are i am afraid to say are gods waiting room if you are elderly.
We as society don't generally care about the elderly as we don't like to accept the inconvenience of knowing we didn't wish to care for them in most cases.
Care homes are mostly private sector owned and it's thier legal responsibility not the government s to supply the staff with P.P E and other equipment and to provide a level of care for thier residents. Most pay Doctor's a retainer to provide medical advice and sign death certificates when required.
I have seen many a case of neiglect in these homes and most are run just for profit and try to to provide a minimum service for the money paided which I think on average is over 400 pound s.
Why are the media and other s so suddenly caring when for years we are all guilty of looking the other way as well don't like to accept the inconvenience that we put them thier.
