APRIL'S HEART BY SHILAH FERR_CHAPTER 1.-GHOSTMAN RADIO STATION

Cheerleader April Schweiter navigates life and love through her turbulent and sexually charged romance with her hot boyfriend, Mitch Hudgins, the love of her life. Is her the love of her life? April really doesn’t know.
Although they are finally a happy couple, April and Mitch decide to break up due to the fact they will be attending different schools far away from each other. But they find they cannot resist each one another, moving on seems impossible. Are they meant for each other or just not meant to be?

Hold on to your hat as April and Mitch with their on again, off again love affair keeps them guessing. It’s
not easy.

“What are we going to do Mitch?" April whispered. “I don’t know April, I just don’t see how...” This time it was April who kissed him. She didn’t want him to say what he was going to say. Mitch didn’t want to say it anyway. They wanted things to stay the way they they were, but that was impossible.

“I think we’re going to have to break up.” April was crying as she said it. Mitch wiped a tear away with his thumb as he shook his head yes. They made love right there on the pool table, desperately, through April’s sobbing.

What happens to the star crossed lovers as the earth tilts off its axis in protest? You may be surprised.
You’ll love this sexy romance novel with all the drama of high school in the eighties. It’s flirty, spirited, with all the Spotify music links that bring you right to the moment. It’s full of heartbreak and tears, triumph and joy, not to mention April’s dysfunctional family, and of course, infamous bitchy high school girls.
Find out what happens to the lovers who are clearly mad for each other, yet riddled with breakups.

“I miss you April” he began. “Mitchell, don’t.” she said. He took her face in her hands. She put her hands on his chest. She couldn’t help herself. Marisol yelled again. “Coach is getting mad April, and hello Mitchell Hudgins!” she giggled. Mitch looked at April. “I might have told her a little about us.” April confessed. “I like it when you say “us”. “Mitch, don’t,” she repeated. “I could throw pebbles at your window sometime April,” it was a sexual reference, they were good at that. “Mitch, stop, I’ve got to go.” There was a long look, topaz to blue. Then a hug. Just a hug. It was painful. She got on the bus and cried into Penny and Marisol’s arms.

PODCAST INTERVIEW _STEPHEN MURRAY _AUTHOR _WWW.AUTHORSTEPHENMURRY.COM _GHOSTMAN RADIO STATION

I am a Las Vegas based author, originally hailing from Great Britain. I am the author of four self-published works of fiction. They are: The Chapel of Eternal Love – Wedding Stories from Las Vegas Return to the Chapel of Eternal Love – Marriage Stories from Las Vegas Murder Aboard the Queen Elizabeth II Discreetly Yours The Chapel of Eternal Love is a fictional novel and an anthology of short and varied stories as to why couples venture to Las Vegas; forsake the trappings of a large family celebration; and opt instead for a small intimate wedding between bride and groom. (After all, we are the marriage capital of the world.)The reader is essentially invited to spend a day at the chapel with the wedding organizer, Rosemary, and her pet dog, Buster, as the various couples come and go. Rosemary and Buster are the link that turn the tapestry of stories into a novel. The diverse vignettes are touching, uplifting, humorous and occasionally heartbreaking. This is a novel about relationships. Essentially a ‘warm, feel good’ book; void of expletives or graphic sex, it is a fun and easy read, focusing around the universal language of love. The critically acclaimed sequel, Return to the Chapel of Eternal Love – Marriage Stories from Las Vegas, was released in December 2015, and revisits the same couples five years hence. This was in response to reader requests as to where the paths of the couples took them once they left the altar. For a change of pace, Murder Aboard the Queen Elizabeth II is a cozy mystery which relays the story of a fabulously wealthy Beverly Hills couple who are celebrating their silver wedding anniversary. They share it with their closest friends and dysfunctional family as they commemorate the occasion on the luxury liner, Queen Elizabeth II. Obviously , one of the cast of characters gets murdered between departing England and before docking in New York. My fourth novel, Discreetly Yours, follows the lives of three ladies who work for an exclusive escort agency in Las Vegas. Due to the mistreatment of them by Frankie, the owner of the agency, they create the perfect crime to murder him. But is it the perfect crime? Do they indeed get away with murder? Furthermore, should they get away with murder? All novels are void of expletives and graphic sex. There is minimal violence in the two murder stories. All four books have received 5 star ratings from ‘Reader’s Favorite’, and the first three have gained positive reviews from Writers Digest.(Discreetly Yours is too new to submit for their contest.) The Chapel of Eternal Love won 1st place in the Authors Talk About It book contest, Mainstream Fiction category.
