Marlisa is a Registered Dietitian, Certified Diabetes Educator Author and Chef. She has been president of Total Wellness Inc., more than 2 ½ decades, she has a BS in Marketing and MS in Nutrition: and she specializes in diabetes, obesity, CVD and GI disorders and has worked with over 24,000 patients. Some clients included; NY Jets, Kennedy Space Center, Hofstra and Adelphi Universities, Guardian Life, Brookhaven National Labs, Goldman Sachs Tiffany, Dean Witter Reynolds, Pall Corp, Bank of New York, Sony, Liz Claiborne, Nassau Space Center, Ethicon and more. In addition Marlisa served as the corporate Wellness Coordinator for Lackmann Culinary Services for over than ten years. Marlisa has made numerous television appearances including “Defeating Diabetes in your Kitchen for FOODIE TV & 5 years on “International Healthy Cooking” for the American Heart Association. She is author of “Gluten-Free Hassle Free”, “The Gluten-Free Hassle-Free Cookbook”, “Gluten-Free Training Guide for Restaurants and Chefs”, “Get it the F Together (fitness, family, fun, finance)’ and “Easy, Gluten-Free”. She has made additional contributions to: Shape, Food Service Management, Newsday, Parenting Magazine, Weight and Training for Dummies.
