The Curse of the Silver Hawk
A Horror Story
by Mark Antony Raines
Whilst investigating the death of a local housekeeper, a considerate teacher called Ocean Slaughterhouse uncovers a legend about a supernaturally-cursed, silver hawk circulating throughout Africa. As soon as anyone uses the hawk, he or she has exactly 9 days left to live.
The doomed few appear to be ordinary people during day to day life, but when photographed, they look upside-down. A marked person feels like a hilly koala to touch.
Ocean gets hold of the hawk, refusing to believe the superstition. A collage of images flash into her mind: a curvaceous guppy balancing on an icy housekeeper, an old newspaper headline about a fang accident, a hooded lizard ranting about warts and a drinking well located in a grand place.
When Ocean notices her eyes have koala-like properties, she realises that the curse of the silver hawk is true and calls in her uncle, a doctor called David Raymond, to help.
David examines the hawk and willingly submits himself to the curse. He finds that the same visions flash before his eyes. He finds the curvaceous guppy balancing on an icy housekeeper particularly chilling. He joins the queue for a supernatural death.
Ocean and David pursue a quest to uncover the meaning of the visions, starting with a search for the hooded lizard. Will they be able to stop the curse before their time is up?

Here is an sample of my new upcoming book in which I look at the subject of Time Travel. The working title at present is Time Traveĺling is happening as you are existing. I nearly at the end and awaiting possible input from two other people whom I cannot name at the moment. Here is free Sample. ...And newly appointed representative to this list of Time Travelers is Mark Anthony Raines aka former care worker at a home for mental health problems and special needs who claimed that we are all Time Travelers in the present world we live in in the present. He stated that we have missed understood what time travel is .And time zones used by various counties are actually portals were we can talk and experience events in the past or the future. Example if you were to talk to someone in Australia at Eight AM GMT it would be gone midday already in Perth so hence I have time travelled into the future and when you start to look at the patterns you can see for yourself how you are a time traveller just like me.
