You Should have believed me by Mark Antony Raines

YOU SHOULD HAVE BELIEVED  ME                                                  Y eah right so your telling me that werewolves are real , who are you  kidding says Jim a student at the university ;usual looking student glasses long hair; a   bit of a facial hair attempting to look like a full grown version but failing badly on that  front. Well every myth has a hint of truth you know people who are born with excessive hair it's called Hypertrichosis is an abnormal amount of hair growth over the body. The two distinct types of Hypertrichosis are generalized Hypertrichosis which occurs over the entire body and localized Hypertrichosis which is restricted to a certain area.Hypertrichosis can be either congenital present at birth or acquired in life. The excess growth of hair occurs in areas of the skin with the exception of the androgen-dependent hair of the pubic area; face  and axillary regions and people are known     to be with a tail on bottom  of the spine. On the outside  replies Mary; jet  black hair; head to  toe  looking  like  a goth.Goth subculture  developed in England  during  the early  1980:s;where  it developed from the audience of gothic rock an offshoot of the post-punk genre; the name  goth subculture derived  directly from the music genre. Jim and Mary continue their lively debate the likely possibilities of real monsters of the  night  .Jim jokes to Mary did you know it's a full moon tonight and that's when things get  weird and the lunatic is more  agiated. Mary quickly replies The term lunatic derives from the Latin word lunaticus which is originally referred to  epilepsy and madness as disease thought  to  be caused by the moon.Jim yes we are eighty percent water and the moon affects the tides so why not us but to change from a human being into werewolf is only in horror stories. Well that's see how scared you get when you get to walk  through  the  local woods your classic scene in the horror genre says Mary making a gesturing wiggle with her finger towards Jim to come into the woods with her.Jim yeah and why s that ;Mary replies  I have a  big surprise  for you.Jim smirked teenage  thoughts  of a bit of a  quickie in the woods sounds ok by him as he sort of fancied Mary anyway.Slowly the couple come upon the woods going into the more deeper end. Mary look s up  at him and asks would  he mind waiting for ten minutes whist I change into something that is a bit more comfortable; your  not  scared of the dark are you.Jim says nervously no; dispite  the fact as a small child he slept a nightlight  on to keep away the monsters under his bed.The full moon in the night sky shines moonlit beams through the leaves ;Jim hears a howl  and growl. In front  of  him  stands a very big jet black haired erect human like wolf with paws and feet with claws ;the beast  leaps  with  its mouth  bearing  cannine  teeth  ,protruding jaw.Jim is about to run but it's too late as the werewolf leaps and it's teeth rip into his throat as Jim tumbles down on the woods floor; flesh  is ripped  from the corpse; bit by bit chewed and eaten even the  bones crunch loudly as devoured. The  sound  echoes in the woods fade into  silence as approaches the sounds of the near by city.Mary calmly buries the remains of skin and hair; bones and flesh of the person once known as Jm.Mary looks down at the grave and remarks you see Jim myths do have some truths you should have believed in them  The End.

Bandages by Mark Antony Raines

BANDAGES.                                                                                        Oh I have finally discovered the tomb of Queen Enid said Tim to Professor Downes. After three years of intense heat, extreme cold at night and that's not forget the howling sandstorms.Professor Downes agreed and went with Tim to the entrance of the newly formed tomb, the professor looked at the Egyptian inscriptions above and slowly deciphered them on his notepad. This curse whom should desecrate my final resting place will be covered in bandages to be forever by my side in eternal sleep.Tim give the Professor a nervous smile and asked him if this was true, Professor Downes let out a booming hearty laugh  (of course not my dear boy it's just pure bunkum to scare away the grave robbers from taking the treasure that lying around the tomb.At this point Tim interrupted but Professor there is no treasures just a plain stone coffin placed above a rock almost like it was never meant to exist )Professor Downes replies  (hmm I think I know more then you boy ).Yes Queen Enid the high priests have prepared your bandages for mumification as requested and all had  thier  tongues  cut out and hands chopped off so the process can not be repeated. The Professor and Tim slowly and with great effort remove the tombs lid, and to their surprise the mummy of Queen Enid looks like as if it was placed in the tomb yesterday. Suddenly a purple mist is surrounding them both. Both begin to cough and find it difficult to breath, a crushing of bones can be heard as both collapse to the floor entwined with thick white bandages slowly up to the their torsos. A creaking of ribs, screams of dreadful pain, towards the neck the bandages piece their faces towards the eyes. Finally both are  covered in living  bandages :red sickly substance and bits of brain ooze out.Inside the tomb a figure of a woman in regal garments raises up. Queen Enid lives. The End.

Behind the Mirror by Mark Antony Raines

BEHIND THE MIRROR.                                                                    The  term  mirror  they are referring to what is known as a plane mirror. This  object takes back  the the light that  hits it and reflects it back. Those used for the common  consumer purposes are of this sort. A mirror is essentially a highly reflective surface. The type that people see on walls or in bathrooms are known as back-silvered mirrors. This means that the reflective surface in most modern  ones this is aluminum is viewed through a bubbling but also distorts the image somewhat. Early mirrors were created by simply polishing a suitable substance until it became highly reflective. Examples from the Neolithic era have been discovered made by the the grinding down obsidian rocks and polishing them to an incredible sheen. They have remarkable properties even allowing subtle details to be clearly seen in their reflection. Modern day ones are  made using an entirely different process of  allowing  liquid metals to condense on a sheet of glass can provide a surface far more reflective than anything achieved by polish. I sit in my room surrounded by shelves full of ancient books on the occult. Occult is knowledge  of the hidden or knowledge  of the  paranormal  as opposed to facts and and knowledge  of the measurable usually referred to as science. The  people  or that  must  be kept hidden but the most practicing occultists. It is  physical sciences. Suddenly ghostly arms come out of the mirror I am being pulled into the mirror; my skin is tearing off my bones. I  scream to no avail. I am totally pulled inside the  mirror.
