SWAN HITS POWERLINE

This picture is of a swan which became blood red after  hitting a power line also its beak was badly cut.The swan was rescued  by T revor Weeks at Wartling,East Sussex and had to swim an icy lake to save the bird.The swan is now recovering and been bandaged.

For 50 years the British public had an extraordinary love affair with a cartload of tea-drinking chimpanzees. While many of is of a certain age remember their talented performances in the popular PG Tips adverts, few people know the story behind their on-screen antics.

This charming documentary tells the story of how the chimps came to be on our screens, what happened to them when the cameras stopped rolling and the problems they faced once the limelight faded.

It takes a nostalgic look back at an era when people were quite happy for chimps to be treated like humans – dressed up in clothes, sleeping in beds, riding bikes and even smoking cigarettes. Celebrating 'ghost sign' advertising boards

BBC Inside Out discovers the forgotten 'ghost signs' or old advertisement billboards which are found on gable ends across towns and cities in Britain.
Designer Wayne Hemingway is a huge fan and thinks they should be treasured and preserved for future generations.
Presenter Dianne Oxberry met John Rymer who runs a Facebook site and Twitter feed dedicated to the signs which have developed a cult following.
Together they went in search of old 'ghost signs' across towns and cities in northern England including Preston, Leeds and York.
Some enthusiasts believe 'ghost signs' should be restored to their former glory. In Morecambe two artists have been working to bring old signs back to life.LINK TO SEE PHOTOS-http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-30703573

BRUISING AND ME

 Boy it seems a odd post you say dear reader but i like to inform even if noone reads it.The worse bruising i had to date the following bruising -in both biceps ,lasted 3 weeks and made them painful to move.The next being of a more ruder area ,one on my stomach above my hip and the others being a deep purple bruise above my penis -sorry folks and same colour bruising on my penis and balls area .painful,discomfort,and getitng headaches,welcome to the world of bruising seeing quack on monday.
