DOG IBS-IRRITABLE BOWEL SYNDROME

Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) In Dogs: Symptoms, Causes, And Treatments By Mike Clark FacebookTwitterRedditEmail Funny dog pooping in the grass (Picture Credit: Getty Images) Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) in dogs is a condition that causes inflammation in the lining of the bowels resulting in upset of the stomach or intestines. It’s usually chronic and can lead to symptoms like nausea, upset stomach, or diarrhea. Though the cause of IBS in canines isn’t always known, there are several possible factors that may affect the condition, including diet, allergies, bowel obstruction, or stress. Cute puppy What is he doing there? Is he saving her? Please enjoy our Cat-fornia roll Pranked! When I am done with life Powered by Firework If you see the signs of IBS in your dog, you must consult your veterinarian for advice on how to treat and manage it. Here’s what you should know about the symptoms, causes, and treatments for IBS in dogs. Symptoms Of Irritable Bowel Syndrome In Dogs dog pooping (Picture Credit: Getty Images) Symptoms of IBS in dogs generally appear in relation to the digestive system. These symptoms may come and go, but they tend to appear frequently and chronically. Some IBS symptoms such as diarrhea and nausea are common issues that appear with other diseases and conditions, so you’ll need to consult your vet for a diagnosis and treatment. Here are some symptoms that appear with IBS in dogs: Frequent diarrhea Mucus in feces Nausea and vomiting Depression or lethargy Discomfort when lying on the belly Loss of appetite and weight loss Abdominal pain and sensitivity to touch near the abdomen Constipation Bloating Causes Of Irritable Bowel Syndrome In Dogs Squatted dog against wall (Picture Credit: Getty Images) The causes of IBS in dogs aren’t always known, and some flare ups can occur seemingly without a trigger. Inflammation of the walls of the digestive tract is the general cause of the symptoms of IBS, but there are many factors that can aggravate the condition. Here are several causes of IBS and its recurring symptoms: Stress and anxiety Fiber deficiency Allergies or food intolerance Bacterial infection Tumors in the digestive tract Impactions, constipation, and bowel obstruction Overeating Antibiotics Any change, irritation, or disturbance in the digestive system Treatments For Irritable Bowel Syndrome In Dogs Young Black Labrador dog eating from dog bowl, side view (Picture Credit: Getty Images) Because the symptoms of IBS in dogs are often associated with other diseases and conditions, you’ll need to see your vet for tests and proper diagnosis before beginning treatment. The treatment of IBS usually aims at reducing exposure to the causes associated with worsening symptoms. For example, stress and anxiety are known factors that aggravate the condition. Taking steps to reduce anxiety or causes of stress in your dog’s environment can go a long way in preventing symptoms from occurring. If there is an underlying medical issue such as an infection or tumor, that will also need to be treated accordingly. Medication can be prescribed to alleviate symptoms. Antispasmodic medications help to calm the stomach and intestines, and anti-diarrhea drugs can help your dog pass solid stool. There are also medications to treat bloating, gas, and constipation. You may want to ask your veterinarian about more natural solutions that reduce inflammation, as well. Generally, continued treatment of IBS involves dietary changes. Diets that are high in fiber help maintain normal function of the digestive tract. Dogs who have IBS should not be fed table scraps and food specifically for humans, as these can be hard on the digestive system. Having a source of fresh water will also help digestive function, as well as replacing fluids that may have been lost through diarrhea or vomiting. Your veterinarian will be able to help you come up with a dietary plan that is right for your dog. Does your dog suffer from IBS? How do you keep symptoms under control? MY FRIST KARATE TOURNAMENT _SYTL _SAY YES TO LIFE KARATE FOR MENTAL HEALTH INTERNATIONAL ONLINE TOURNAMENT SATURDAY AND SUNDAY 27_28 th JUNE 2020

Gōjū-ryū (剛柔流)Japanese for "hard-soft style", is one of the main traditional Okinawan styles of karate, htfeaturing a combination of hard and soft techniques. Both principles, hard and soft, come from the famous martial arts book used by Okinawan masters during the 19th and 20th centuries, the Bubishi (Chinese武備志pinyinWǔbèi Zhì).[1] , which means hard, refers to closed hand techniques or straight linear attacks; , which means soft, refers to open hand techniques and circular movements. Gōjū-ryū incorporates both circular and linear movements into its curriculum, combining hard striking attacks such as kicks and close hand punches with softer open hand circular techniques for attacking, blocking, and controlling the opponent, including joint locks, grappling, takedowns, and throws.

I practice  Gojo Ryu  at Gésar Karate  based  at  Fry Street; Holsworthy ;Devon which  is a small club running  for more than  10 years  around  Holsworthy. The classes  offered  are a mixture of kata;Kumite;self defense and fitness  training.
Both my Sensi s Hjalmar  Dentlinger ..Facebook Link_    https://m.facebook.com/gesarkarate/?tsid=0.055723240705881416&source=result and Sensi  Dan Hunt help with adapting  my Karate  due to murder neurological problem  which  affects  my  balance and  my  small vessel disease of the brain which affects my cognitive skills like memory.

I saw posted on on Gesar  Karate  Facebook  page  about  an online  International Kata competition  being  held by SYTL _SAY YES TO LIFE  KARATE __https://m.facebook.com/SYTLKarate/
So inspired  by its  support  to raise  money  and awareness for mental health i registered  myself  to take part  as a competitor in the  pre recorded  kata  and the live Tournament in the Vets _over 35 years old immediate division.
This was my very  frist  ever Karate  tournament i wanted  to see how I could  push my limits .
The process  required  me to learn and perform two Gojo _Ryu  katas  I choose  Gekisai Ich and Saifa.

Saifa was the more challenging  of the  two as I have  done this kata  a couple  of times  but  it was  good  to  test my memory  skills  due to fact I have  Small Vessel  Disease of The Brain which affects my cognitive skills like memory  plus my mobility  is hampered  by my neurological the  that affects  my balance.
Live Tournament Day
Saturday

I had to sign on to the zoom link given and then bow in around 11am.I asked my step son Shane to be my cameraman to film my kata for the live segments ,I was not due to go on until after 2pm so I had my dinner and relaxed a little.
Then I signed in and awaited my final against David Horn SYTL Gojo Ryu  Karate in the D2@D3 Intermediate and advanced 5th to 1th kyu .
I admit my nerves were building up and we had a few camera issue s until we figured out of was better view from the back camera if the tablet.

Then I did not have a red or blue belt as is standard in competition but my yellow belt was accepted by the judges as ok.As I was Red
I bowed then
I had give second s to announce my kata  then  perform it all the way to the end,
I did my first kata Gekisai Ich and I messed it up a bit
Then awaited the Judges decision as Davd Horn Blue had performed his Kara before me.
I was then informed by the Judge s that I had got a SILVER Medal and due to the gap between belt grades as David is 3rd Brown Belt I think it was deemed not necessary to do a second kata

AS in all competitions or tournaments the Judges decision is final and a fair decision .

I also entered the pre recorded kata section but the standard was very high.

I later watched The LipinSki Cup
A live open final All Kata Styles Completion

A very enjoyable and excellent standard s of karate katas.

Then I attended the medal ceremony

For my very first experience of what a karate competition is like I can say it was worth challenging myself and pushing my limits I can truly say to any over karate students thinking of giving it a try please do,just remember I did it and I am 58 years old.

Not by Mark Antony Raines

Not a sheep flocking like a herd to the beach ,
Not getting drunk getting into pointless fights,
Not protesting about black life matter s as are we not all born equal in the pandemic that takes all,
Not on furlong pay at eighty per cent for I remember when people said people on benefits were just lazy good for nothing s,seems their just like me now,
Not worried I get the covert 19 I hear others say ,no social distancing not even a face mask covering nose and mouth,
Not you I just me

Ugly Duckling by Mark Antony Raines

Once upon a time  long ago  on a old farm  which  was looking at bit worse for wear sat a mother duck sitting  on her nest awaiting  for her newly laided  eggs  to hatch.

"It typical  your  father  has gone withome his mates to investigate  some  new pond  and left me to sit here  bored out  my brain  waiting  for  you  lot to hatch;so hurry  up and get on with it "
said Mother Duck

Suddenly a cracking  sounds  could be  heard and out from  under her bottom  tiny quack s could be heard; the mother  duck  sat up to give the  poor  little things  some  air .

"You look all so cute and cuddly"
Mother Duck  then counted  her new borns it was only five so number  six was not hatched  yet.

Sitting  in the nest  was one large  I would  say brown egg but it s a strange world  now where a colour can cause offence, so that  us call it a different egg in shade instead  less of this back to the  story.

So the Mother Duck informed the five others  that playtime  at the pond will have  to wait  until  the  last egg was hatched.
After a long night and into the dawn of a new day and some very very very very bored duckling s awaiting finally  the different  egg hatched.

But what stepped  out of the cracked egg  shell was a odd looking  bird who was much bigger than the rest and had the most uglylist face you  ever  did see and when he walked  it was  with a funny  wobble.
In unison the the other duckling s said
'You are very ugly "
Mother  Duck said
"Don't be so rude he is your  brother  and he is probably a late developer ,now come  on line up its time to  go to  for the pond for some playtime.
The other duckling s waited  until  the  mother duck was ahead  of them and all turned and said  to  the ugly  bird .

'look you are far too ugly and awkward  to be with  us in the pond so why  don't  you  go away  and hide "

So the poor different duckling  felt instantly  upset  and run away  crying and generally  feeling  very sorry for himself.

Days and Days went by ,with the odd comments from passing members of the animal kingdom  , "oh boy your an ugly looking Bird ,bet your own mother don't love you!"

The  ugly different looking Bird just retreated into himself some more feeling very very very very unloved.

Little did he know his mother was missing him lots and was very angry with his give other siblings for telling him to go away,in return each of  the ugly different birds siblings had a guilty conscious for their horrid words and attitude to a member of their family.

Suddenly one day a pigeon flow by and said "Oh Boy what a beauty" this keep happening all day,He even got a couple of wolf whistles  from the geese flying over ,so to see what the fuss was all about,he went to the pond.

In the ripple of the pond a reflection looked back at him,he was a magnificent white swan.

Passing by at this exact moment was his mother and his give siblings ,the mother duck in an instant knew that the swan was once the ugly duckling ,his siblings all in unison said sorry for being so cruel .

Then a flash of built up angry and frustration the swan preceded to.peck and bite until all were DEAD,nothing left but corpes floating to the bottom of the pond, and for a brief while red coloured pond water.

The End.
