Police have been called to reports of ghosts, vampires, zombies and paranormal activity in Devon 17 times over the past three years.
Among the reports were calls about vampires drinking their own blood, ghosts trying to break into a house and zombies in the street.
Police were even called by one person who believed they had seen a UFO near Devon woods that "shot off into the stars" after hovering over his head.
However, police say the reports are "not indicative of the supernatural or paranormal" presences in the county.

A spokesman for Devon and Cornwall Police said: "Police would not routinely attend an incident for the report of paranormal activity.
"An officer will however attend if there is concern for welfare for either the caller or another individual or where there is reason to believe an offence may have occurred.
