God Only Knows What I Be Without You(Poem)
God Only Knows What I Be Without You
I stand alone where shadows softly creep,
Death’s quiet guest, a silence deep and sure,
Yet through the void, your voice echoes steep—
God only knows what I'd endure, obscure.
Without your light, the night would swallow me,
A hollow breath amid the ceaseless dark;
The pulse of life would halt—no heart to see—
No dawn’s embrace to kindle hope’s faint spark.
Do you not feel? Your absence clips my wings;
Each moment lost condemns a soul bereft.
Yet still I rise—your name within me sings—
Compassion’s flame that death itself has left.
So if the end should claim this weary frame,
Know I was more because I held your name.

Merry Christmas, ho ho ho,
The snow fell softly on Christmas Eve,
A funny sight, you'd all believe,
Young Timmy tried to catch a flake,
And landed face-first in the cake!
Merry Christmas, ho ho ho,
From frosty wind and falling snow,
A happy New Year, filled with cheer,
From Mark to you, far and near.
Aunt Millie wore a Santa hat,
That squeaked each time she stood or sat,
The dog got tangled in the lights,
And chased its tail with all its might.
Merry Christmas, ho ho ho,
From frosty wind and falling snow,
A happy New Year, filled with cheer,
From Mark to you, far and near.
The pudding burst, a sticky mess,
Across poor Uncle Fred's best dress,
He didn't mind, he laughed with glee,
"More pudding then, for him and me!"
(
Merry Christmas, ho ho ho,
From frosty wind and falling snow,
A happy New Year, filled with cheer,
From Mark to you, far and near.
The New Year bells began to chime,
A promise of a brighter time,
We raised a glass, with hearts so light,
And danced and sang throughout the night.
Merry Christmas, ho ho ho,
From frosty wind and falling snow,
A happy New Year, filled with cheer,
From Mark to you, far and near.
So let the laughter fill the air,
And leave behind all worldly care,
May joy and peace forever stay,
With you this Christmas, and each day.
From Mark, a wish that's warm and true,
Merry Christmas, and Happy New Year to you!

Going Live
Ah, here I stand, the mic’s cold breath below my nose—
A silent crowd unseen except by blinking red lights’ prose.
“T-minus ten,” the producer shrills, his smile a twisted blade,
I clutch my earmuffs tight; in seconds I’ll be displayed.
This journey starts with static blasts—my voice a trembling lamb,
Words stumble forth like clumsy dancers in a hammy jam.
“Oh! Frequencies collide!” I joke, trying out my radio charm—
Yet every crackle sounds like doom wrapped sweetly in alarm.
The clock’s relentless countdown beats beneath my eager skin,
And all at once—the magic strikes! The show begins to spin!
“Good evening folks!” I chirp too loud, then cough—live air surprise!
But if you hear a laugh or two? That’s just me on the rise.
