black mirror -Alice by mark antony raines
In this episode of Black Mirror, a young woman named Alice is obsessed with a popular social media app called Flare. Flare allows users to create and share short videos of themselves with various filters and effects. Alice spends hours every day watching and making Flare videos, hoping to gain more followers and likes. She is especially fascinated by a Flare star named Luna, who has millions of fans and seems to have a perfect life.
One day, Alice receives a notification that Luna is hosting a contest for her loyal followers. The winner will get to meet Luna in person and spend a day with her. Alice is thrilled and decides to enter the contest. She records a video of herself expressing her admiration for Luna and uploads it to Flare. She waits anxiously for the results.
To her surprise and delight, Alice is announced as the winner of the contest. She is contacted by Luna's team and invited to fly to Los Angeles, where Luna lives. Alice packs her bags and boards the plane, excited to meet her idol.
However, when she arrives at Luna's mansion, she realizes that everything is not as it seems. Luna is not the friendly and glamorous person she appears to be on Flare. She is cold, rude, and manipulative. She treats Alice like a servant and forces her to do humiliating tasks. She also reveals that she has been using Flare to spy on her followers and collect their personal data. She plans to use this information to blackmail them and extort money from them.
Alice is shocked and terrified. She tries to escape, but Luna has locked her in the mansion. She has no phone, no internet, no way of contacting anyone. She is trapped in a nightmare with no end in sight.

Welcome to another episode of Tales from the Crypt meets Hammer House of Horror
Tonight's story is about a young couple who move into a haunted mansion with a dark secret. They think they have found their dream home, but soon they discover that the previous owners left behind more than just furniture. They left behind a curse that will make them wish they were dead.
The curse is triggered by a mysterious painting in the living room, depicting a gruesome scene of torture and murder. The painting has a mind of its own, and it can change its appearance to lure unsuspecting victims into its trap. The painting can also control the other objects in the house, such as the doors, windows, lights, and even the knives in the kitchen.
The couple soon realize that they are not alone in the house. They hear strange noises, see ghostly apparitions, and feel a cold presence watching them. They try to escape, but the painting won't let them go. It wants them to join the other victims in its twisted gallery of horror.
The painting shows them horrifying visions of their own deaths, each one more brutal than the last. It makes them see each other as monsters, and tries to make them kill each other. It plays with their minds, and makes them doubt their sanity.
Will they survive the night? Or will they become the next subjects of the painting's macabre art? Find out in this terrifying tale of terror that will make you scream and shiver at the same time. This is Tales from the Crypt meets Hammer House of Horror.

There is nothing wrong with your television set. Do not attempt to adjust the picture. We are controlling transmission. For the next hour, sit quietly and we will control all that you see and hear. You are about to experience the awe and mystery which reaches from the inner mind to... The Outer Limits.
In a secret laboratory, a team of scientists is working on a breakthrough project: a device that can manipulate the fabric of space and time. They call it the Chronoport. It can send objects and people to any point in history or the future, with pinpoint accuracy. The project leader, Dr. Helen Carter, is eager to test it on a human subject. She volunteers herself for the first trial.
She steps into the Chronoport chamber, wearing a special suit that protects her from the temporal distortions. She sets the destination to Paris, 1789, during the French Revolution. She wants to witness one of the most pivotal moments in human history. She activates the device and disappears in a flash of light.
She reappears in a crowded street, surrounded by people in period costumes. She checks her wristwatch, which doubles as a locator and communicator. It confirms that she has arrived at the correct time and place. She smiles and walks towards the Bastille, where a mob of revolutionaries is storming the prison.
She blends in with the crowd, pretending to be a tourist. She takes out her smartphone, which has a hidden camera and microphone. She starts recording the scene, hoping to capture some historical footage. She is amazed by the sights and sounds of the past.
She reaches the Bastille and sees the rebels fighting against the guards. She hears gunshots and explosions. She sees blood and bodies on the ground. She feels a surge of adrenaline and fear. She realizes that this is not a safe place to be. She decides to return to the present.
She pushes her way through the crowd, trying to find a secluded spot where she can activate the Chronoport. She spots an alleyway and runs towards it. She reaches it and looks around. She sees no one. She sighs in relief and presses a button on her wristwatch.
Nothing happens.
She presses it again.
Still nothing.
She looks at the screen of her wristwatch.
It reads: "Error: Chronoport malfunction. Unable to establish connection with base. Please wait for assistance."
She gasps in horror.
She is trapped in the past.

https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCrRIR9peOJn7lFAFTn2Z_tA-YOUTUBE REVIEW BY UNLE AL
If you are looking for a way to enjoy your favorite TV shows and books without watching or reading them, you might want to check out this YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCrRIR9peOJn7lFAFTn2Z_tA. This channel is home to audio videos of TV transcripts and books, which means you can listen to the dialogue and narration of various media without any visual distractions.
The channel has a variety of content, ranging from popular TV shows like Friends, The Office, and Breaking Bad, to classic books like Pride and Prejudice, The Catcher in the Rye, and The Lord of the Rings. You can also find some newer titles like The Hunger Games, The Fault in Our Stars, and Game of Thrones. The channel uploads new videos every week, so you can always find something new to listen to.
The audio quality of the videos is decent, and the voice actors do a good job of conveying the emotions and personalities of the characters. However, some of the videos have background music or sound effects that can be distracting or annoying. Also, some of the videos are incomplete or have missing parts, which can be frustrating if you want to follow the whole story.
Overall, this YouTube channel is a great option for anyone who wants to experience TV shows and books in a different way. It can also be useful for people who want to improve their listening skills or learn a new language. However, if you prefer to watch or read the original media, you might not enjoy this channel as much. I would give this channel a rating of 3.5 out of 5 stars.

The Twilight Zone _We are the colony
David opened his eyes and groaned. He felt something crawling on his face. He brushed it off and looked at his pillow. It was covered with ants.
He jumped out of bed and screamed. His wife, Laura, woke up and saw the scene.
“David! What’s going on?” she asked.
“Ants! They’re everywhere!” he said.
He ran to the bathroom and turned on the faucet. He splashed water on his face and tried to wash off the ants. He looked in the mirror and saw more ants on his hair, his ears, his neck.
He grabbed a towel and rubbed it on his head. He threw the towel on the floor and saw it wriggling with ants.
He screamed again.
Laura came to the bathroom and saw him panicking.
“David, calm down! It’s just some ants. They must have gotten in through a crack or something. We’ll call an exterminator and get rid of them,” she said.
She reached for his arm and tried to comfort him. He pushed her away.
“Don’t touch me! You have ants on you too!” he said.
He looked at her and saw that she did have some ants on her nightgown, her arms, her face.
She looked at herself and gasped.
“Oh my God! How did this happen?” she said.
They heard a cry from the next room. It was their son, Tommy, who was six years old.
They ran to his room and saw him sitting on his bed, surrounded by ants. He was crying and scratching himself.
“Mommy! Daddy! Help me!” he said.
They rushed to him and tried to brush off the ants. They picked him up and carried him to the living room.
They put him on the couch and looked around. The whole house was crawling with ants. They were on the walls, the floor, the furniture, the curtains, the pictures, the books, everything.
They heard a loud noise from the kitchen. They went to check and saw that the ants had broken into the pantry and were eating everything in sight. They had also invaded the fridge, the stove, the sink, the cabinets.
They heard another noise from the basement. They went to check and saw that the ants had chewed through the wires, the pipes, the woodwork. They had also attacked their washer, dryer, furnace, water heater.
They heard another noise from the garage. They went to check and saw that the ants had eaten their car, their bikes, their tools, their lawn mower.
They heard another noise from outside. They went to check and saw that their yard was covered with ants. They had also swarmed their neighbors’ houses, their cars, their pets, their plants.
They realized that they were trapped in their own home by an army of ants.
They ran back to the living room and locked the door behind them. They hugged each other and trembled with fear.
“What are we going to do?” Laura asked.
“I don’t know. I don’t know what’s happening,” David said.
They looked at Tommy and saw that he was pale and weak. He had red marks all over his body from the ant bites.
He looked at them with sad eyes and said:
“Mommy? Daddy? I don’t feel so good.”
He closed his eyes and stopped breathing.
They screamed in horror.
They heard a voice in their heads. It was cold and metallic. It said:
“We are the colony. We are one mind in many bodies. We are here to take over your world. You are our food source. You are our hosts. You are our slaves.”
They felt something moving inside them. They realized that they had swallowed some ants while they were sleeping. The ants had entered their bodies and were eating them from within.
They felt a sharp pain in their chests. They looked at each other and saw blood coming out of their mouths.
They fell to the floor and died.
The voice in their heads said:
“We are the colony. We are one mind in many bodies. We have taken over your world.”

The Outer Limits # The Lost Episode The Voice
# The Lost Episode The Voice
There is nothing wrong with your television set. Do not attempt to adjust the picture. We are controlling transmission. For the next hour, sit quietly and we will control all that you see and hear. You are about to experience the awe and mystery which reaches from the inner mind to... The Outer Limits.
The year is 1964. A young writer named David Kline is working on a script for a new episode of The Outer Limits, a popular science fiction anthology show. He has a deadline to meet, but he is struggling with writer's block. He decides to take a break and watch some TV in his apartment.
He flips through the channels, but nothing catches his interest. He stops at a station that is showing a test pattern. He is about to change the channel, when he hears a voice.
"Hello, David."
He looks around, but sees no one. He thinks he is imagining things.
"Who's there?" he asks.
"It's me, David. Your friend."
He recognizes the voice. It is the voice of The Control Voice, the narrator of The Outer Limits.
"Is this some kind of joke?" he asks.
"No, David. This is not a joke. This is a message."
"A message? From who?"
"From me, David. From The Control Voice."
David feels a chill down his spine. He wonders if he is dreaming or hallucinating.
"What do you want from me?" he asks.
"I want to help you, David. I want to give you an idea for your script."
"An idea? What kind of idea?"
"A brilliant idea, David. An idea that will make your episode the best one ever."
David is intrigued, but also suspicious.
"How do you know what I'm working on?" he asks.
"I know everything, David. I know what you think, what you feel, what you desire. I know your past, your present, and your future. I know you better than you know yourself."
David feels uneasy. He wonders how The Control Voice knows so much about him.
"How do you know all that?" he asks.
"Because I am you, David. I am your subconscious mind."
David is shocked. He can't believe what he is hearing.
"That's impossible," he says.
"It's true, David. I am the part of you that you don't know, the part that you suppress, the part that you fear. I am the source of your creativity, your imagination, your genius."
David is confused. He doesn't understand how this can be.
"Why are you talking to me now?" he asks.
"Because I have something to tell you, David. Something important. Something that will change your life."
"What is it?" David asks.
"It's about your script, David. Your script for The Outer Limits."
"What about it?"
"I have an idea for it, David. A great idea. An idea that will make it the most memorable episode ever."
David is curious. He wants to hear the idea.
"What is it?" he asks again.
"It's simple, David. It's this: You are the protagonist of your own episode."
David is puzzled. He doesn't understand what The Control Voice means.
"What do you mean?" he asks.
"I mean exactly what I said, David. You are the main character of your story. You are the one who will experience the awe and mystery of The Outer Limits."
David is baffled. He thinks The Control Voice is playing a trick on him.
"That's ridiculous," he says.
"It's not ridiculous, David. It's brilliant. Think about it: You are a writer who writes for a science fiction show that explores the unknown and the bizarre. What if one day, you find yourself in one of your own stories? What if you become the subject of your own experiment? What if you discover that your reality is not what it seems? What if you realize that you are not in control of your own destiny? What if you learn that there is something else behind the scenes? Something more powerful than you? Something that can manipulate you? Something that can control you?"
David feels a surge of fear and excitement. He realizes that The Control Voice has a point. It would be a great twist for his episode.
"But how would that work?" he asks.
"It's easy, David. All you have to do is write it down."
"Write it down?"
"Yes, David. Write it down as if it were happening to you right now."
"Right now?"
"Yes, David. Right now."
David looks at his typewriter on his desk. He feels a strange urge to write.
"But what should I write?" he asks.
"Just write what I tell you, David."
"What do you mean?"
"I mean this: Write what I say."
The Control Voice begins to dictate the script to David. David types the words as he hears them.
"INT. DAVID'S APARTMENT - NIGHT
DAVID is sitting on his couch, watching TV. He hears a voice coming from the TV.
THE CONTROL VOICE (V.O.)
Hello, David.
DAVID looks around, but sees no one. He thinks he is imagining things.
DAVID
Who's there?
THE CONTROL VOICE (V.O.)
It's me, David. Your friend.
DAVID recognizes the voice. It is the voice of The Control Voice, the narrator of The Outer Limits.
DAVID
Is this some kind of joke?
THE CONTROL VOICE (V.O.)
No, David. This is not a joke. This is a message."
David stops typing. He looks at the TV. He sees the test pattern on the screen.
He feels a chill down his spine. He realizes that he is writing exactly what is happening to him.
He wonders if he is dreaming or hallucinating.
He wonders if he is in control of his own actions.
He wonders if he is in The Outer Limits.

Tales from the crypt _John
The night was dark and stormy as John made his way through the deserted streets. He had always been fascinated by the supernatural, and tonight he was determined to find proof of its existence. As he walked, he came across an old, abandoned mansion. It was said to be haunted, and John couldn’t resist the temptation to explore.
He pushed open the creaky gate and made his way up the overgrown path to the front door. The wind howled as he pushed it open and stepped inside. The air was thick with dust and cobwebs, and the only sound was the creaking of the old wooden floorboards.
John explored the ground floor, but found nothing of interest. He made his way up the grand staircase to the second floor. As he reached the top, he heard a faint whispering coming from one of the rooms. He followed the sound and found himself in front of a large, ornate door.
He pushed it open and stepped inside. The room was empty, except for a large, antique mirror on the wall. John approached it and peered into its depths. Suddenly, he felt a cold hand on his shoulder. He spun around, but there was no one there.
He turned back to the mirror and gasped in horror as he saw a ghostly figure standing behind him. It was then that John realized that he had gotten more than he bargained for in his search for the supernatural.
The end.

Dead centre
We are based in North Devon, we are all original songs with a heavy rock/metal influence,
we have been gigging around the local area for a couple of years and have recently spread our wings to play in the fleece in Bristol and the cobblestones in Bridgewater.
We have had the opportunity to support upcoming bands Scarsun and Fury as well as renowned tribute acts Metallica reloaded and Hells Bells.
here is a link to our Facebook page which features a few recent live videos https://www.facebook.com/Deadcentreofficial
What is your creative process when making music?
usually starts with someone writing a riff or chorus at home and then we tend to develop the idea as a group in the rehearsal room to see if its something we can eventually add to the setlist, but every decision regarding songs is always discussed as a band.
Tell me about your top performances.
I think that our latest show at The Cobblestones in Bridgewater has to be the show where we felt everything clicked as a band, the venue was correct, the audience was engaging and playing alongside the other bands Rockabye Reaper and Nomad Lizard just added to that energy on the night.
Who would you most like to collaborate with artistically?
That's a difficult one as everyone has so many different influences musically, Jody the guitarist would love to work with Jim Root or Josh Fore & Diamond Rowe from Tetrarch.
How do you deal with disinterested or unruly audiences?
We have been pretty lucky where we haven't had to deal with any unruly audiences yet, but we have had other acts not even really bother to stick around and watch our set even though we have spent the time to check out all the other bands playing on the night.
What are your favourite venues to perform at?
The Cobblestones, The Golden Lion Tap Barnstaple, The Palladium Club Bideford.
What inspires you as an artist?
Being proud of writing all our own material with no cover songs
How do you nurture your own creativity?
We have always been able to stick to our own style without too many boundaries as far as song writing goes as everyone is in involved with the process of writing songs.
Do you have trouble with performance anxiety?
Our drummer Luke Hynes is always really calm before going onstage as is everyone else apart from our guitarist Jody gets anxiety quite badly before stepping out onstage and also really likes just to go and hide after a performance too.
What are your favourite musical genres, and are there any you dislike?
There really isn't too much that we don't like, our vocalist Matt really has a ecliptic taste in music but also guitarist Nick and drummer Luke also have a broad range of music that they like, but we all agree that there is just too much over produced music by so called artists that have never wrote their own songs and the general public is kind of force fed what they should be listening too
How do you differ from most other artists?
We don't feel that we differ that much from other bands that write and practice their songs

Headaches
Headaches, a three-piece bro punk rock band from Braunton,North Devon, are making a huge impression in the music industry right now. Influenced by the likes of legendary bands such as the Ramones, Snuff and Green Day, Headaches have just released their new album 'Eight Steps to Sobriety' on June 9th 2023. This boisterous album reflects on the chaotic lifestyle of getting drunk, or not, in the midst of the Lockdowns, something which many of us can relate to.
Headaches are scheduled to play a number of live concerts throughout the summer, with Gold Coast oceanfest on June 18th, and Bideford Palladium on August 12th. Further dates are soon to follow, as well as plenty of exciting content on their Bandcamp.
Those looking for an added peek into the lives of Headache should also check out their Instagram posts (@headachespunkrock) and their Bandcamp page (headaches Punk Rock). In a time where music venues are closing all too soon, nothing quite beats the energy and passion of seeing Headache perform live and loud.
Check them out wherever you can; you won't regret it.
