Long ago #sc fi #short#story

A long, long time ago in an idyllic, idyllic galaxy...

A time traveller, who had a healthy ego.

A humanoid, who thrives on drama.

It's a robot fiction story about resistance and revolution. It kicks off in the engine room with a fight to preserve alien culture.

(Note that: someone in the story has a fatal craving for knowledge.)

And there's a twist! There are lab rats... and the lab rats live in this story.

After leaving the squidgy planet Klendathu, a group of giants fly toward a distant speck. The speck gradually resolves into a ribbed, space mill.

Civil war strikes the galaxy, which is ruled by James Blast, a cosy fairy capable of robbery and even man slaughter.

Terrified, a magical giant known as Kimberly Gobble flees the Empire, with her protector, William Hemingway.

They head for New York on the planet Dagobah. When they finally arrive, a fight breaks out. Hemingway uses his idyllic pistol to defend Kimberly.

Hemingway and Giant Kimberly decide it's time to leave Dagobah and steal a space rocket to shoot their way out.

They encounter a tribe of men. Hemingway is attacked and the giant is captured by the men and taken back to New York.

Hemingway must fight to save Giant Kimberly but when he accidentally unearths a scrawny book, the entire future of the idyllic, squidgy galaxy is at stake.
