DEVIL S DAY OFF BY MARK ANTONY RAINES
A Large bat is seen guiding its wings in flight towards the gothic medieval castle.
As the bat enters the castle it transforms into a puff of red smoke leaving a distinct smell of rotten egg sulphur in the atmosphere.
Standing in place of the bat is a man dressed in a bright red suit but instead of shoes he has hooves and is known as Mephistopheles but he much prefers Satan and it conquer s up more dread and fear among the human race.
Satan has been feeling a bit bored just sitting on his seat of bones in the depths of hell and has come to the castle first some merriment.
Using his devilish magic he conjure s up an imp to be his assistant in his mirth .
Both summon a woman to mock and make her escape her eternal hell only to make her into a ghost to witness their fun.
Into the castle enter two travellers wary awaiting to seek a bed for the night.
Suddenly one of them feels a poke in the background from the imp carrying a pitchfork then the other feels the same.
The imp carries on instantaneously transporting to different areas as in the end background the devil is laughing away.
One of the confused soon flee the room leaving the other to experience several tricks being played on them including furniture being moved around and the appearance of a dancing skeleton.
But to the imp and Devils surprise the visitor is completely unfazed and produces a sword to attack the dancing skeleton in turn then turns into a large bat then it reveals itself to have been the Satan all this time.
From thin air the cauldron reappear s producing four spectres to subdue the man after being subdued the man recover s to see before the the ghost of a woman whom impresses him with her beauty but this short lived as Satan changes her into a withered old crone in front of his bewildering eyes.
At this point his fellow traveller making a show of bravery and leaping from one of the castles balconies and upon landing comes face to face with Mephistopheles himself who he makes vanish along with the imp by brandishing a large crucifix.
So Satan was sat back on his throne of human bones as for the imp he was sent to clean the oozing river of red hot larva for more bones for the chair as a punishment.
