Grey Squirrel better than the Red Squirrel

Grey Squirrel better than the Red Squirrel at problem solving skills and reason better at searching for food could be why out numbered them in Britain.Exeter university did a test involving Grey and Red Squirrel in which there had to pull a lever to get a reward of nuts .The Grey Squirrel had a score of 9 out of 10,Red Squirrel 6 out of 10 .So this is showing that the Grey Squirrel is better at looking for food .

What is Yellow Dog UKTM?

The Yellow Dog Project is a registered charity created to bring awareness to dogs who need space while training, recovering from surgery, or being rehabilitated.

If you see a dog with a YELLOW ribbon, bandana or similar on the leash or on the dog, this is a dog which needs some space.

6
Please, do not approach this dog or its people with your dog. They are indicating that their dog cannot be close to other dogs. How close is too close? Only the dog or his people know, so maintain distance and give them time to move out of your way.

Why might a dog need space?

There are many reasons why a dog may need space.  It may...

  • have health issues
  • be a rescue dog being rehabilitated. The world can be a very scary place for these dogs.
  • 3have had a bad experience with another dog or is just not like the kind of friendly dogs which always want to say "Hi!"
  • be a bitch may be in heat
  • be in training
  • be very old and arthritic
  • be nervous or shy and other dogs cause it stress
In short, a yellow marker on a dog means it needs some space.
This website has been developed to be a fun and informative way of raising awareness of the Yellow Dog campaign.  Learn how you can get involved by making a donation or becoming a sponsor.  Visit our online store to purchase everything from posters and car window decals to doggie tabards and owner t-shirts.  Chat online with other Yellow Dog owners in our forum, send us your Yellow Dog photos for our gallery and read success stories from other Yellow Dog owners.

I am a mother of 2 and live in Somerset, UK. Having a daughter with severe special needs, not being able to work, I was looking for something to fill my time and started writing short blogs about some of the daft things we all got up to as a family. It was only when someone said that I should write a book, that I actually sat down and did just that! The Chronicles of Charlotte Elizabeth is a collection of those stories, together with a few extra laugh out loud moments and maybe a few tears as well.

My second literary attempt is a collection of stories from our family archives, some spooky, some just plain daft, hopefully, all interesting and humorous!

I am currently working on a new novel, this time about my mother and her sisters growing up during the war years. There were many gritty stories told to me over the years, and this book is my attempt to do them justice. Those years were extremely difficult for one of my aunts and also in part for my mother, there's love, loss, lust and even a few laughs. The title I am leaning towards is 'GI'. I hope to have it ready for proof-reading over the next 6 to 8 months.
