IN MEMORY OF MITZI -FRIEND,PLAYMATE,FAMILY -HOME TO THE RAINBOW BRIDGE
-RAINBOW BRIDGE
Mitzi
How Mitzi came into into our family is a strange but true story.
My wife Enid received a phone call to attend a reading of a will by a solicitor of a person she knew from a local charity that helped with giving out furniture.
My wife Enid was the only non related person at the reading the rest were family of the deceased.
When it got to Enid's turn she was given the responsibility of looking after the deceased beloved Jack Russell by the name of Mitzi who was be given cuddle s and love .
Mitzi used to go around care homes to give them comfort before we had her.
She was very overweight but her personality shown through.
She loved to play a game with the paper boy or girl by waiting for them by the door and when an envelope or newspaper appeared she would grab it.
She loved her cuddly toys and played with them and if you attempted to move her toy box she would whine and cry.
Everyone got to know her as she would always remember people and go up to them and get a cuddle.
She had moments when she was as the expression says mad as a box of frogs.
Urban Dictionary. Mad as a box of frogs. Very mad, but typically refers to someone in the public eye. Of course, as the very idea of putting frogs in a box is eccentric to say the least, one who is very mad can be said to be; As mad as a box of frogs.
Mitzi brought laughter, joy;to our family Raines and will be forever in our hearts.
If she is up in the rainbow bridge I hope she will look down and see the beloved family she left behind.
Rainbow Bridge Poem.
Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.

Rainbow Bridge Poem.
Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.
When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.
All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.
They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.
You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.
Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together.
