The tradis materialised as it had done a thousand times.
Inside the doctors travelling partners discussed among themselves what adventures would await them this time,and who they would face .
Sandy looked in the montior and saw something that totally surprised her ,on the screen in front of them was a building with the words NHS North Devon Hospital.
Sandy turned to Paul who just sighed with a puzzled look on his face.
The doctor just said
"Yes ,I forgot all about the appointment, it funny how forgetful you get my age"
Sandy"What appointment, and why?"
Paul "Perhaps it to check her two hearts"
Doctor "No,my hearts are perfectly fine thank you "
Sandy "If you say so"
Paul"Thats do what we always do ,walk into blindly "
Doctor "Yes what he said "
So all left the blue police box and walked towards the hospital and enter the building and approached the receptionist standing behind the desk with a sign saying please report to the reception desk on arrival.
Receptionist "Yes ,how can I help you "
Doctor "I think I have an appointment I meant to attend "
Receptionist "Name please "
Doctor "The Doctor "
Receptionist looked at her computer screen as she typed in the Doctor and then replied.
"Yes ,your appointment is on level 3 with Doctor Enid"
Doctor "OK"
Sandy "Are you not going ask what the appointment is for"
Paul"This does seem rather odd"
Doctor "Yes I could ask but I am just curious to find out"
At that all three left the Receptionist at the desk and headed to the lifts to go to level 3.
The Receptionist picks up the phone in the background and speaks to Dr Enid.
"The Doctor is on her way "
Dr Enid "Thank you I will get prepared to deal with her"
The Doctor, Sandy, Paul whilst waiting for the lift debate if this who thing about appointment was a ruse ,or trap of some kind as usual the doctor give one of those all knowing glares and the subject was closed.
All enter the lift,Sandy presses the button to go to level 2.
Thier all leave the lift to enter to cold white corridor which had on the floor to Dr Enid which the doctor, Sandy and Paul knew immediately was odd as it was always a ward .
At the end of the corridor was yet another receptionist sitting at a desk, who on close inspection looked suspicious like the one seen earlier at the front desk.
Receptionist
"Name Please "
Doctor "The Doctor "
Receptionist "Yes thank you, before you sit down I need to take your temperature "
The doctor placed her head on the temperature reading device then sat down next to Sandy and Paul on some very uncomfortable plastic chairs.
Sandy and Paul scanned around the reception area and the only patients in the room was the doctor and themselves.
After waiting for what seemed hours dependent your precreption of time,a nurse comes towards them carrying a huge file on which are the words Doctor can be seen.
They are all taken to a surprisingly normal dark down office door with the name Dr Enid on it.
The nurse knocks on the door and a voice calls out
"Yes come on in I am ready for the patient "
They all go through the door apart from the nurse who just turns around and leaves.
Sitting behind a office desk and office chair is a small woman with grey blonde hair and a name tag on her scrubs saying Dr Enid.
Dr Enid
" I am glad you finally come to your senses and attended this appointment I have been waiting along time for this day"
Sandy and Paul look puzzled.
The doctor "Yes I glad I am here too ,but I have to recollection of making any such appointment and suspect I here for another reason "
Dr Enid "The appointment was made by Your fellow s as their wished it too me who told you as earth people put it,the good news and the bad news "
Doctor "I see well that's take a gamble on the good news frist "
Sandy and Paul both say in unison
"We agree "
Dr Enid "Well as you have gathered Doctor I know who you really are,my employer s have made me the bearer of good tidings "
Doctor "I do hate Suspense, just splt it out "
Dr Enid "Fairly well Doctor, I have to say congratulations are in order, you are expecting twins "
Sandy and Paul both laughed, the doctor was half in shock and the other curious of how this could be.
Doctor "How is that possible, yes I know the birds and bees stuff,I never thought of being sexual with any species "
Dr Enid "Its not any other species Doctor, it a very rare event were you on self love for yourself created the release of the hormone s required to get you pregnant "
Doctor "Yes,got to say bit of shock but I still don't understand why you are telling me"
Dr Enid "Well Doctor I just doing my job the next time is up to my employer s"
A distant thumping of a drum like heartbeat gets louder and louder suddenly a bright orb appears in which sit four figures dressed in full timelord dress.
The orb floats in the air and sends out a beam of bright green light which engulfs the doctor, leaving her unable to move and use her trusty screwdriver to escape the situation.
Sandy and Paul try to rush to the doctors aid but are stopped by the light emitting from Dr Enid s pen.
Dr Enid "I am very sorry but you are no longer required, both your memories will be wiped and you will be taken back from the time you came from to live your life s journey, we thank you both for your service ".
In a blink of an eye both Sandy and Paul disappeared.
Doctor 'What is too become of me"
The time Lords spoke as one voice.
"We have never before come across a fellow time lord who is pregnant with twins and we have decided to suspend your licence to be a time lord until the twins are fully grown adults "
Doctor "I would let you do this to me,what about the future of earth and the galaxy to future generations of threat s from alien attacks "
Timelords "That problem has been dealt with, as for refusing doctor we decided to take the choice away by using the fobwatch to contain your present resurrection "
The Doctor is about to say something when all she can hear is the swallow ticking of a fobwatch.
Some time later on the planet Galifairy a young mum is tending to her two twin s telling legends of a being who once travelled time and space and had wondrous adventures.
All round the multi galaxy the former enemies of the Doctor gleefully smiled but this soon stopped as they heard the whisper of multiple tradis appearing over there planet s,each had in side each doctor ever regenerated .
