Tineola bisselliella by Mark Antony Raines
Tineola bisselliella
As I lay my eggs in cluster of 200 On this lovely collection of old clothes in a dark dank old wardrobe I wander how we would have survived without the careless habits of our hosts.
After ten days my darling babies hatch at this stage their are nothing but near mircoscopic white caterpillars whom are very hungry.
They crawl slowly towards the floor creeping towards the tiny cracks in the wardrobe door driven by their need to feed and unquenchable thirst.
Silent in their approach to their attended hosts.
For years our hosts have tried to kill us in various ways without realising this was making us evolve very different species than we first were when discovered by humans.
There methods were some bizarre and some what deadly but we are many although the loss is great among our mind and we morn them we came back stronger.
Airtight containers should be used to prevent re-infestation once eggs, larvae, and moths are killed by any of these methods.
Control measures for T. bisselliella (and similar species) include the following:
Anoxic measures work by displacing oxygen with an inert gas, asphyxiating the insectsCarbon dioxide anoxia – Similar to cryofumigation, but using compressed dry carbon dioxide gas to exclude oxygen
Treatment for one week at 25 °C (77 °F) is recommended.
Nitrogen anoxia – Similar to cryofumigation, but using dry nitrogen gas to exclude oxygen
This process may cost more than carbon dioxide treatment.
Argon anoxia – Similar to cryofumigation, but using dry argon gas to exclude oxygen. This process may cost more than carbon dioxide treatment.
Physical measuresBrushing vigorously in bright light can dislodge eggs and larvae, which may drop to the ground.Clothing moth traps – Usually consisting of adhesive-lined cardboard enclosures baited with artificial pheromones, this measure can help monitor the current infestation and prevent males from mating with females.
Only males are drawn to the traps.Dry cleaning – This kills moths on existing clothing and helps remove moisture from clothes.
Freezing – Freezing the object for several days at temperatures below 18 °F (−8 °C) to kill larvae.
However, eggs survive freezing to -23°C.[19]Heat (120 °F or 49 °C for 30 minutes or more)– these conditions may possibly be achieved by placing infested materials in an attic or sun-baked automobile in hot weather, or by washing clothes at or above this temperature.
Specialist pest controllers can also provide various methods of heat treatment.Vacuuming – Since the moths like to hide in carpeting and baseboards (skirting), this is an important step towards full eradication. After thorough vacuuming, the bag should immediately be disposed of outside.
Burning – fire will destroy any live insects or larvae.
The larve caterpillars move across the thick carpet jungle ignoring the once taste of the carpet fibres onwards with their endless crawl until their reach the mountain of the divan bed climb .
The caterpillars form a bridge by some interconnected together to form this bridge a trick learn via observing ants .
The fellow caterpillars crawl one by one On the bridge and precede to crawl into their hosts, who are at this moment of time fast asleep in the hands of the sandman.
The hosts fee nothing at first as hundreds of micro teeth sink into the taste of pork like meat ,the hosts start to wiggle and as he suddenly like big shaken by a thunderbolt .
But it's to late for the humans to save themselves as the iron rich sickly sweet blood as he drained out of them making them unable to resist,it s time to eat, tiny mouths are very very very hungry, nothing is left but the remains of ash of what was once a living, loving couple called Simon and Jerry.
The micro caterpillars then sleep ready for their pupation their emerge as adult moths searching for Females to mate as can only in this stage live at the moment for 30 days.
After this time period death takes place and shortly afterwards the Females start to lay eggs and the process starts again, soon one day evolution will help us longer and we will be the dominant species of the planet ,revenge for our beloved fallen.
