JUNE AKERN -http://www.juneahern.com
I'd like to introduce you to me and my book, "How To Talk With Spirits: Seances, Mediums, Ghost Hunts." I have many experiences with ghosts haunting persons and/or places and spirits of the dead who are at peace. These experiences include working with law enforcement on a few missing person and murder cases. Although retired from my forty-five years practice as a psychic reader and medium I've kept my interests in paranormal investigations as seen on Amazon Prime show, The Haunted Bay as well as on older versions on YouTube.com. I'm also giving presentations on Zoom that continue to receive more attendees with positive feedback. The last one was "Healing the Unsaid with the Dead." My other book, "The Timeless Counselor: The Best Guide to a Successful Psychic Reading" is a complete consumer's guide and my two novels continue to be enjoyed by readers. If you think I'll be a good (and fun) guest please email with some dates and times. Carl Honoré is an award-winning writer, broadcaster and TED speaker. He is the voice of the global Slow Movement.Carl Honoré is an award-winning writer, broadcaster and TED speaker. As the voice of the Slow Movement, he travels the world to teach people how to thrive in a fast world – by slowing down. Whether running a small workshop or speaking to thousands from the stage, Carl is dynamic, inspiring, insightful and funny. His audiences range from C-suite executives, entrepreneurs and IT professionals to teachers, academics and medical practitioners. His clients range from Microsoft, Barclays and Reuters to Citibank, Accenture and Unilever to McKinsey, L’Oréal and Haagen Dazs. He also speaks to parents, teachers and pupils in schools around the world. Carl featured in a series for BBC Radio 4 called The Slow Coach in which he helped frazzled, over-scheduled Britons slow down. He presented a TV show (ABC 1) called Frantic Family Rescue where he did the same for families in Australia. He hosts a podcast called The Slow Revolution and his TED talk on the benefits of slowing down has been viewed 2.9 million times. Before spearheading the Slow Movement, Carl spent a decade working as a journalist. He covered Europe and South America for the Economist, Observer, Miami Herald, Houston Chronicle, Time, National Post and other publications. His first book, In Praise of Slow, examines our compulsion to hurry and chronicles a global trend toward putting on the brakes. The Financial Times said it is “to the Slow Movement what Das Kapital is to communism.” His second book, Under Pressure, explores the good, the bad and the ugly of modern childrearing – and offers a blueprint for change. It was hailed by Time as a “gospel of the Slow Parenting movement.” Carl’s third book, The Slow Fix, explores how to tackle complex problems in every walk of life, from health and relationships to business and politics, without falling for superficial, short-term quick fixes. Carl’s latest book, Bolder: Making The Most Of Our Longer Lives, is about ageing – how we can do it better and feel better about doing it. It’s also a rallying cry against the last form of discrimination that dare speak its name: ageism. Published in 35 languages, his books have landed on bestseller lists in many countries. In Praise of Slow was a BBC Radio 4 Book of the Week and the inaugural choice for the Huffington Post Book Club. It also featured in a British TV sitcom, Argentina’s version of Big Brother and a TV commercial for the Motorola tablet. Under Pressure was shortlisted for the Writers’ Trust Award, the top prize for non-fiction in Canada. Bolder was a BBC Radio 4 Book of the Week and a Reader’s Digest (UK) Book of the Month. Carl is an advisor to Jack Media, which makes messaging apps, and sits on the Board of Trustees of Hewitt School in New York City. He lives in London. While researching his first book on slowness he was slapped with a speeding ticket.

Description
Product Description
It’s not just WHAT you think, but HOW you think, that makes a difference in the outcomes you generate.
You make tens of thousands of decisions a day – up to 70,000 according to research. Yet far too many of these decisions are made under emotional duress, stress, anxiety, and pressure. When this happens, the rational control center of your brain is no longer in charge, having been replaced by the emotional control center. Make Better Decisions. You do not have to emotionally react to events, situations, and people. Within this book you will find useful and easy-to-implement tips and techniques for taking control of your emotions and thoughts so that you can respond, instead of reacting, to life’s daily challenges. Doing so puts you in a position to make more optimal decisions, both personally and professionally. Drive Better Outcomes. Stressed-out people fall prey to binary choice decision making, which limits the options they take into consideration. An array of choices and options appear in mindful moments because opting to pause prevents habitual, knee-jerk responses from automatically surfacing and taking over. Removing yourself from autopilot mode helps prevent reactive decisions and responses. A mindfulness breather enables your conscious thoughts to hold sway over unconscious, instinctive, and automatic reactions. This leads to better decisions and more desirable outcomes. Better decision making and better thinking — and thus better outcomes — can be yours. The key to doing so, especially for important decisions that lead to a more productive and happier life, is in knowing how stress and anxiety impact your decision making.Review
Steven has written a book that will you to think about the way you make decisions, but also gives you a call to action what you do .He has done research in how the mind reacts under stress and anxiety. This is inspired ;informational; very interesting and excellently written.
