Metro-Maniac Chronicles: Through the Eyes of an Obsessive-
Compulsive Metro-Maniac' written by Jasveer Singh Dangi.
When I choose this book I felt that the cover of this book is very
simple and it will be very simple read but the book got
something great into it. This book is mainly based on the Delhi
Metro. The author narrated the story as his experience, his
feelings and all which he got in his Metro travel. The author
travels every day for 45 minutes in the Delhi metro and all his
experiences were seen in this book. The author speaks about
each and every detail which he found and experienced in Metro
travel. The book mainly focuses on the different types of people
and their attitude in a very funny and a humorous way. The
author has explained all the detail about the metro journey in
this simple book. My review: This book is very simple and easy
to read. The book is small and can be read quickly and the
language is too simple as well. While reading this book I felt like
I was talking to someone who is my co passenger and sharing all
his experiences in a very friendly and humorous way. The book
has the 30 content and each content has different topic named to
it and each content is barely two to three pages. I really like how
the author observes all the small details of his daily journey. I
like: 1. The title of each content 2. Lucid and easy language 3.
The honest on the author's writing. After reading the book I got
a feel to travel the metro and to find all those experiences on my
own. I like the book.
Gopal R N rated it 5 out of 5 stars on Amazon - Delhi metro is a
great way to travel around the city. We all know that Delhi is a
very big and crowded place and that is why the roads of Delhi
are full of traffic every time, and Delhi metro is a mean by which
we can travel around the city at a very less cost, and it consumes
lesser time than traveling by a motorbike or car. Other countries
call it trams, in India, Metro trains are the name of such a great
traveling option. Author Jasveer Singh has penned down a book
by observing various kinds of people who are usually found in
Delhi Metro. Through his Writing, Author proves to be a
observing person and has a good balance of sarcasm with sense
of humor. Metro Maniac is a very short read which differentiate
people into 30 different categories and it is really fun to read
about them. Whatever the Author have written, it is totally
acceptable and relate to large audience especially from Delhi. I
think I belong to "The BookLovers Club" and also partially to
"Sombie" Category and it was really funny to read. The language
is easy. One can pick this book while travelling in Metro and can
relate it on spot and I am sure readers will smile after finishing
each chapter. The Book Cover is designed too beautiful. I
strongly recommend this book to every person.

Kanwarpal Singh rated it 4 out of 5 stars on Amazon - This
book is about an intelligence security agent who met with an
accident and lost his memory but with a name slip in his pocket,
the whole story have many twists that came at appropriate time
and the characters are well balanced and placed that they did a
fabulous job with it and most of them have a mask on their face ,
and it's a story of country love, security forces, mafia group of
security forces, their heads how they were taken down , the
author did a fabulous writing and if ever this book is made into
a movie it will be blockbuster. I really like the title first I thought
it would be a story of some failed mission but they writer make
it clear in the starting the meaning of the title and this novel has
the power and every reader out there must read this thriller
novel.
Priya Agarwal rated 5 out of 5 stars on Goodreads - The story is
about an intelligent security agent Amandeep who
unfortunately lost his memory. Amandeep has to find out
himself or to recall his memory. It is a lengthy read. Narration is
quite different and difficult. Book is good at first and grows very
interesting as we read further. Action scenes were described so
amazingly that it was like watching a movie. At first I was
confused about the name and the cover but aft reading the book
I can say that it is perfect. Cover is good. Reader will feel a lot of
thrilling experience and enjoy reading the book. I enjoyed the
end of the book. It was quite expected and it was superb.
Recommendations yes.
Night Reader rated it 5 out of 5 on Goodreads - Written like a
script I would love it if this book is adapted into a movie. The
chase, the characters, and the story line it couldn't have been
more exciting. The detailing. Man, the author really put their
heart and soul in the book. The story of 110 is so engaging that I
could not keep it down at all. I can't reveal anything about the
book because at every step there is a revelation you did not
expect. My first spy thriller of 2020 couldn't have been better.

Ravneet Kaur rated 5 out of 5 stars on Amazon.in - One
of the best books I have ever read...!! Reviewed in India on
6 December 2018 Format: The book reminds you of the late
'80s. How the lifestyle was completely different from that
of today's. It makes me realize that being a kid of today's
generation is not actually fun if compared to a kid of '80s.
The trend of outdoor games has just disappeared. The
book will give you a tour of the '80s and will make you
remind what lifestyle actually is. The book is completely
worth reading. The writer has really put a lot of effort to
pen down his experiences of being a kid of the late '80s.
