God Only Knows What I Be Without You(Poem)

 God Only Knows What I Be Without You

I stand alone where shadows softly creep,

Death’s quiet guest, a silence deep and sure,

Yet through the void, your voice echoes steep—

God only knows what I'd endure, obscure.

Without your light, the night would swallow me,

A hollow breath amid the ceaseless dark;

The pulse of life would halt—no heart to see—

No dawn’s embrace to kindle hope’s faint spark.

Do you not feel? Your absence clips my wings;

Each moment lost condemns a soul bereft.

Yet still I rise—your name within me sings—

Compassion’s flame that death itself has left.

So if the end should claim this weary frame,

Know I was more because I held your name.
