We became aggressive, as we had a reason to do so, and it is was to protect our young or their nests from you the beings we know as the walkers. If you come near our nests we will “dive-bombing” you, you are probably too close to our chicks. I do not want to kill you but I am capable of lacking out your eyes, giving you a nasty peck all over your body or just for fun shitting on you the walker., I just want you to go away because I feel threatened by you, walker. My species only interaction with you walkers for mainly two reasons: food and nesting.
Food
Our best source is around coastal areas where fishing towns would provide us with plenty of food. Nowadays we have adapted to living in non-fishing towns, where they can find food that walkers throw away it has made us less frightened of your kind so we now are much bolder to the extent of taking food from your hands . as
You the walkers who you call yourself humans are the one we as you call us seagulls have through time become more aware of us due to our encroachment on your urban environment.
We Seagulls are very intelligent when it comes to catching food. For example, we know how to “charm” worms by stomping their feet on the soil to attract them to the surface and catch them. We also know that in order to crack open shellfish, they need to drop it from a certain height onto a hard surface to crack it open. We smile inside our heads at your attempts to stop us
You try to keep food out of sight (e.g., only open your food container to take food out and then cover it again). You even avoid having food visible (like ice-cream), keep it close to your body and try to scare us away with your other arm. Remember you humans are much bigger than us seagull, and if you move towards them, they will be scared but the truth is we ignore this as we are no longer afraid, one of you great philosophies an Alfred Hitchcock once made a film about my fellow kind that you dismissed as merely a film, you fools. We are now the nightmare you created.
